Shere Khan takes an opportunity to massacre Mowgli after he lures Baloo in a man trap. Mowgli gets Kaa's help to pull Baloo out whilst Mowgli wards off Shere Khan with a flaming branch.
After straying away from Baloo's teaching, Mowgli encounters a giant nest of wild black bees. He uses this place to get back at Shere Khan for picking a fight with Baloo and Bagheera.
Kaa is itching as he sheds his skin and is in a bad mood. The Banderlogs imprison Mowgli and Shere Khan is prowling for him, but Kaa with Bagheera and Baloo come to the rescue.
The Wolf Pack is having some doubts about Mowgli, so he challenges Phaona to a race. Mowgli is on the verge of losing the race, but Bagheera manages to keep Mowgli out of trouble.
A monkey called Masha steals Baloo's glasses proclaiming herself Queen of the Jungle and impressing the Banderlogs. Mowgli tries to get the glasses back, while Shere Khan follows him.
Mowgli strongly believes his lucky charm is the key to victory. He drops the charm and Kaa sleeps on top of it. Mowgli gets it back after a near encounter with Shere Khan, but takes back what he said to Bala earlier.
Mowgli meets a Himilayan monkey named Langur. In the absence of the black snake Thu, Mowgli's friends try to guard the Cold Lair from human presence, but Mowgli and Langur take care of them with a ghost act.
Loud screeches ring in the jungle, which Baloo says maybe the "Giant Claw" beast, but its just Chil's intensified screeching. Mowgli and Bagheera carry out a plan to prevent Shere Khan from finding out about this.
Baloo and Mowgli go fishing. During a bad fish catch, Baloo hits his head on a tree branch and falls on a log drifting down the river and later Bagheera with him. With some help from the turtles Oo and Boo, Mowgli prevents them from plunging down a waterfall.
Chil the Kite takes away Lali and Mowgli from the middle of a stream. He warns and takes Mowgli to a danger that poses by the stream and aids the wolves against a giant black cobra.
Mowgli fancies himself as the bravest in the jungle, but he carelessly falls down a well. Tabaqui helps him out for Shere Khan, but Hathi arrives to help Mowgli.
Mowgli finds a gold crescent necklace which he and Lali both like. They then compete with the Banderlogs and Shere Khan for it. After recovering it, Mowgli tosses it down the waterfall.
Lali and Mowgli avoid Shere Khan as he follows their trail. Darzi passes a message to summon Baloo and Raksha to rescue the two as they have a tricking fight with Shere Khan.
Shere Khan nabs Baloo and Bagheera, but before he can get Mowgli, Mowgli is carried by a storm down the river closing in on a waterfall, but he manages to rescue himself and Tabaqui.
Baloo challenges Mowgli to a contest to prove he is fit. By the end of the contest Baloo gets trapped under logs. Mowgli brings Hathi to free Baloo, motivating him to take regular exercise.
An earthquake shakes through the jungle, getting Lali and Bala trapped in their cave. Kaa locates a shaft to exit the cave, which Mowgli and Kaa venture down to retrieve the wolf cubs.
Mowgli tries to live alone. He is met by Ponya, a red panda. Mowgli shows Ponya round the jungle trying to keep her out of trouble, but needs Baloo and Bagheera's help to save her from poisonous snakes.
Appu goes off by himself and gets stranded on a pillar in the Banderlog lair. With the reluctant help of the Banderlogs, Mowgli and his friends build a bridge to rescue Appu.
Phaona misleads Mowgli to the Elephant March where Shere Khan is told to find him. Mowgli is late for the wolf council meeting, but Akela realizes Phaona's deceit.
Mowgli goes with Tabaqui to the Wishing Tree hoping to be a great hunter. Shere Khan comes for Mowgli, but after a long fight he manages to scare the tiger away.
While Mowgli gets Kaa's old skin to scare away Tabaqui. Hearing about Mowgli's trick, Shere Khan goes to get him, but the tiger runs into the real Kaa.
Mowgli discovers a rubber ball formed inside a hollow coconut and regards it as his personally. Shere Khan takes the opportunity to get Mowgli, but Bala and Lali save him.
Mowgli finds a mirror that has been dropped by a human, and Tabaqui becomes convinced there are more man-cubs lurking in the jungle than he originally thought
Mowgli and Bagheera offer to help a female buffalo find the right berry to cure her sick calf, but Shere Khan plots to get the young animal and the man-cub at the same time
Darzee wants to be brave and strong like the other big birds, but they have little faith in her. Mowgli, Baloo and Bagheera take her with them, and soon need her help
A lime green mould threatens the trees of the jungle. Mowgli and Bagheera go on a dangerous mission to the man village to get cedar oil, the only thing they know will destroy it
Mowgli sets off to see the peacocks choose their mates but Sher Khan is following Mowgli. Pavo has lost his way to the Great Peacock Gathering and Mowgli decides to help him. Sher Khan follows the two and disrupts the party.
Chota, a young cub and his mother Canada, are near the waterfalls. Chota is busy running after a butterfly when he falls into the river below. Mowgli hears the cries of an animal and rushes to rescue it.
After a chase with Sher Khan, Mowgli falls down into the ravine. Everyone knows that Mowgli is gone, but the animals in the jungle are also furious about Sher Khan's remark of having preferred to eat Mowgli than to kill him.
The season of baby turtles hatching is near and Boo and Oo wish to see it. Mowgli wants to see the hatching too. They decide to run and keep to the banks of the river as Jakala might attack them.
Baloo and Bageerah find their meal in Mowgli's tree. Mowgli gets upset at the incident and leaves only to find Lali looking for him, as Akela has wished to see him. Mowgli learns that Akela's food was also in Mowgli's tree.
It is the mango season and as Mowgli and Baloo are trying to reach on to some tasty mango, Baloo slips and falls into a thorn bush face first. What he now needs is some medicinal honey which can cure him.
The Siberian cranes are flying over the jungle and Mowgli is very eager to watch them. He meets with Alyona who proposes to take Mowgli along with them on their migration. Mowgli asks Baloo and Bageerah to help him fly.
The race is back on and Bala and Mowgli are fighting it out to win it. Lali who is waiting at the finish line declares that Mowgli has won by a nose. Bala is very upset and wants to have a rematch.
The three monkey sisters bully Rana. Mowgli arrives and startles the sisters but they join in and bully him too. Rana and Mowgli plant a trap with bananas on them but Masha sees it all and knows that the trap is for her.
Darzee informs Baloo and Bageerah that Mowgli was taken away by the monkeys. Kaa is chasing after all the monkeys in search of Masha but he isn't finding her. Back at the Cold Lair, Mowgli tries to reason with Masha.
Darzee and Mowgli find the Cold Lair erringly silent. After an attack by Kala they get to know that Kala has taken over the Cold Lair. Back at his place he finds out that the monkeys have tied up Baloo and Bageerah.
The sun is vanishing and all the animals are huddled around to see Hathi perform the sun dance. But Hathi has forgotten it and now only Boo and Oo can save the day.
Jakala and Sher Khan engage in a ferocious battle and Jakala tosses away Sher Khan on the banks. Sher Khan isn't moving and this alarms Bageerah, Mowgli, Baloo and even Tabaqui.
Mowgli's want to make a huge leap on the tree, nearly costs him Ravi and Vira's eggs. But he catches them on time and promises to take care of the eggs while the birds are away finding twigs for a new nest.
Chuchip and Mowgli are trying to run away from Kala who is chasing after them. Having lost Kala, Mowgli climbs a tree to know where they are. Meanwhile, Chuchip eats some fruits which make him itchy and he loses his sight too
The wolves are busy stacking up the meat and Bala and Mowgli are busy looking for some hunt. But suddenly they come under an attack by Sher Khan and Tabaqui saves them. Everyone is shocked with this new development.
It is almost time for Hita's age of rite night but she can't blow her trumpet hard enough and give out a loud call. Mowgli finds her and tries to pacify her. He also tries to help her in making her call louder.
Darzee and Mowgli venture into Kala's territory along with Bageerah to taste peaches that can only be found there. But Bageerah is very scared and wants them to hurry. To his bad luck, Kala has already come.
Baloo wakes up to find his vision blurry and realises his glasses are not with him. He stamps on everything that comes his way including Bageerah. Tired sick, Bageerah asks Baloo to grab his tail and he will show him the way.
Mowgli is back to his acrobatics but this time he lands Kaa into huge trouble. Kaa is silently hunting when Mowgli accidently knocks him down on the ground. Kaa brings gets back in shape, but a huge fit of hiccups takeover.
Mowgli is trying to catch Darzee but he isn't quite successful at it. Tabaqui is watching all this from a distance and he mocks Mowgli by calling him the slowest animal. Mowgli challenges Tabaqui that he is not the slowest.
Mowgli, Hita and Appu are looking for their relatives, but they can't spot them. Mowgli offers to go look for them and notices that the elephants are in the swamp. He asks Darzee to go inform Hathi about the situation.
Baloo is out looking for Bageerah and Mowgli but find Ikki. She tells him the way in exchange for bananas. Mowgli and Bageerah have to cross the broken bridge to go to the side of the river where the fishes are found.
It is time for the wolves to gather food again as winter is coming, and Akela chooses Mowgli as the leader of one pack. Phaona doesn't like the idea one bit. Mowgli has to take Lali, Bala and Phaona as his teammates.
Mowgli is trying to find a way up the ridge and Phaona decides to help him. Mowgli thinks that Phaona wants to get rid of the wolves. He confronts Phaona, but suddenly the rock beneath him slips and he falls in the valley.
Mogli, der noch nie Schnee gesehen hat, bewundert die Baumwollflocken, die vom Ast rieseln. Am liebsten würde Mogli mit Ponya in die Berge reisen und echten Schnee sehen, doch Balu verbietet es ihm.
