Sakuras Vater Fujitaka und seine Assistentin sind von Sleepy, der Schlafkarte, in den Tiefschlaf versetzt worden. Sakura gelingt es, sie zu versiegeln. Doch dabei wird im Arbeitszimmer des Vaters ein Chaos angerichtet und sein Material für die Vorlesung vernichtet.
Sakura's father has an important presentation to complete so Sakura and her brother decide to help by taking on all the chores around the house. Sakura decides to do more and brings a snack for her father at the university. While she is there, the Sleep card shows up and starts to make all the students and professors fall asleep. Sakura manages to capture the card with the help of Windy, however her father's laptop is ruined in the process. Although her father forgives her, Sakura still feels guilty so her father deicides to make her his personal assistant and they eventually get the presentation finished.

Sakura non vuole disturbare suo padre poiché questi è molto impegnato nei preparativi di un importante congresso di archeologia internazionale. Per aiutarlo a distrarsi, Sakura lo va a trovare con Tomoyo sul luogo di lavoro. Durante la visita però, suo padre cade addormentato, così come tutti i suoi assistenti e colleghi. Kero-chan si accorge di The Sleep (la carta del Sonno), ma finisce addormentato insieme a Tomoyo. Sakura rincorre la carta fino allo studio del padre, dove per catturarla, mette accidentalmente a soqquadro la stanza distruggendo il suo duro lavoro. Per farsi perdonare, la ragazza promette a suo padre di aiutarlo a riscrivere tutto.

Fujitaka se encuentra muy ocupado últimamente en su trabajo porque está realizando una tesis, por lo que Toya y Sakura se han encargado de los quehaceres de la casa, aunque a su papá no le agrada mucho la idea. Entonces, Sakura decide ir a visitarlo a la universidad en la que trabaja como profesor de Arqueología, junto con Tomoyo y Kero. Ahí se encuentran con algunos estudiantes que ayudan a Fujitaka con las investigaciones para la tesis y juntos van a su oficina.
