The episode begins with Tea exclaiming how incredible the new area is: a gigantic tropical forest full of fruit-bearing trees. Solomon has also spotted something incredible: Joey eating twice his weight in tropical fruit. Yugi remarks that the Joey is a self-proclaimed food freak, and Tristan notes that as long as he's eating he can't talk, but Joey protests that even though he's eating he can still hear. As he bites into another banana, however, it transforms into the next riddle: "Choose the apple that gives you a raise And offer it up in the secret maze."
Al llegar a un bosque, el grupo debe encontrar el Fruto de la Evolución y ofrecerlo a un templo. Un Petit Moth accidentalmente los lleva al templo, donde están tres manzanas; un laberinto pronto separa a todos. Tea obtiene a Seiyaryu, mientras que Tristan obtiene a Excavador Aplastador; usando el monstruo más nuevo de Tristan para abrirse camino a través del laberinto, regresan para encontrar una de las manzanas que se fue y un Capullo Evolutivo en el lugar de Petit Moth. Se abre, revelando un Gran Moth; un ataque solo hace que evolucione en Gran Moth Definitivo Perfecto. El Faraón libera una de las manzanas para ellos y la muerde, convirtiendo su armadura del Mago Oscuro en una armadura de Mago Oscuro del Caos. Él fácilmente derrota al monstruo antes de ofrecer la manzana final al altar.
