Yugi, Joey, and Kaiba continue their battle with the Great Leviathan, but their monsters' attacks have no effect. The monsters are destroyed, and the Leviathan proceeds to absorb the three into itself. However, before Yami Yugi is completely absorbed, he is able to call to all of the absorbed souls to lend him their power. With this, Yami Yugi is able to break them out, and then proceeds to revive the God Cards, Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra. He has them destroy the Great Beast, and as a result the lost souls are restored to their bodies. Joey and Kaiba then leave the area, but before Yugi can he is confronted by Dartz one final time. Yami Yugi realizes that he must finally extinguish the darkness in Dartz once and for all, or the terrible events that have occured will happen again.

Yugi, Joey und Kaiba kämpfen mit aller Kraft gegen Orichalcos, doch das Monster ist zu stark und absorbiert die Freunde. Yugi gelingt es jedoch in letzter Sekunde zu entkommen. Er setzt die mächtigen Götterkarten ein, woraufhin alle Monster vereint gegen den großen Leviathan antreten.
Leviatán destruye la última barrera defensiva de Yugi, Joey y Kaiba y los ataca directamente. Dartz les deja escuchar las voces de Mai, Rafael, Alister y las demás almas atrapadas por la bestia. Yami Yugi logra comunicarse con las almas para pedirles ayuda. Las almas y los monstruos le dan su luz y con esto Yami Yugi logra liberar el poder del faraón para Invocar a los Dioses Egipcios. Leviatán se fortalece con la oscuridad pero la luz de los Dioses Egipcios logra liberar las almas que fueron absorbidas. Antes de irse, Dartz aparece y Yami lo enfrenta, pero la bestia lo atrapa.
遊戯、海馬、城之内の3人は、浮上した巨大都市・アトランティス上で、ダーツの化身である全長数キロに及ぶ巨大竜・リヴァイアサンと対峙。デッキからモンスターを召喚して攻めるが、リヴァイアサンは無傷だった。
