Ancestral y refinado, está mal visto por la sociedad nipona, ya que distinguía a criminales y marginados del siglo XIII. Hoy, el tatuaje es, para muchos, una forma de rebelarse contra el orden establecido.

Dans cet univers urbain éclectique, il est un art caché de tous : le tatouage traditionnel, appelé irezumi. Ancestral et raffiné, il est mal considéré dans la société nippone, car il a distingué dès le XIIIe siècle les hors-la-loi et les parias. Le tatouage est devenu pour une partie de la jeunesse un moyen de se rebeller contre l’ordre établi.

Sie ist jahrhundertealt, äußerst vielseitig und hat doch einen schlechten Ruf in der japanischen Gesellschaft. Denn seit dem 13. Jahrhundert wurden Tätowierungen vor allem als eine Art Brandmarkung für Kriminelle und Außenseiter verwendet. Heute tragen sie manche Jugendliche als Zeichen der Rebellion gegen die bestehende Ordnung.

Mówi się na nie “irezumi”, czyli dosłownie: “wprowadzać tusz”. Wielowiekowa i wyrafinowana sztuka tatuowania jest źle widziana w społeczeństwie japońskim. W XX wieku yakuza, japońska mafia, uczyniła z niego symbol przynależności. Posiadacze.czki tatuaży nie mają wstępu na baseny i siłownie. Nieliczni wytatuowani buntownicy nie obnoszą się ze swoimi ozdobami.

Per alcuni giovani, è diventato un modo per ribellarsi alle convenzioni.
