Rose hat sich komplett übernommen und bricht zum Entsetzen ihrer Mitbewohnerinnen im Wohnzimmer zusammen. Sie wird ins Krankenhaus gebracht, wo sich aber herausstellt, dass sie nichts Ernstes hat, sondern sich lediglich zuviel zugemutet hatte. Trotzdem feiert Rose ihre Gesundung wie eine "Wiedergeburt" und beschliesst, von nun an ein neues Leben zu führen. Das geht so weit, dass sie sogar bei den "Golden Girls" auszieht und sich eine Wohnung am Strand nimmt.
Rose is convinced she died during a throat spasm. This leads her to live her life to the hilt, totally disrupting the other girls lives. Then, when the girls complain about her new lifestyle, Rose moves out.
