武器弾薬や生活物資の補給のため、キラはカガリと共にバナディーヤの街へ。そこで不審な男と口論になるが、彼こそが敵将、バルトフェルドだった。
Kira and Cagalli are sent into a nearby ZAFT controlled city to gather supplies with Natarle and the Desert Dawn. The two teenagers get caught in an attack by the Blue Cosmos, and when Kira saves a man who happens to be Andrew Waltfeld, they are invited to the ZAFT base. There, Andrew reveals that he knows Kira is the pilot of the Strike and a Coordinator, but lets them leave safely.
Kira und Cagalli werden in die nächste Stadt geschickt um Vorräte zu sammeln. Doch die Stadt liegt im ZAFT Gebiet und die 2 Teenager treffen überraschenderweise auf den Wüstentiger, Andrew Waltfeld.
Les résistants se rendent à Banadiyah afin d'acheter des armes et des provisions de toutes sortes. Kira sert de garde du corps à Cagalli. Alors qu'ils prennent leur repas à une terrasse, ils sont abordés par un inconnu qui leur donne des conseils culinaires. C'est à ce moment qu'ils sont attaqués par des hommes armés.
