First Part: Arnold has to do a book report, and he decides to do it on his favorite author, Agitha Cawfield, but he sees her bad side when she is very crabby & rude to him.
Second Part: There is a new kid at P.S. 118, but he isn't the playful type, and he doesn't know the definition of fun, so Arnold and the gang try to teach him to have fun and take a break off his busy schedual.
Erster Teil: Weil die Kinder über ihre Lieblingsschriftstellerin schreiben sollen, besucht Arnold Agatha Caulfield, die auf der Elch-Insel wohnt. Doch die Autorin ist verbittert, hat seit Jahren nicht mehr geschrieben und will Arnold kein Interview geben. Als der aber hartnäckig bleibt, ist sie beeindruckt und gibt schließlich nach. Und sie veröffentlicht ein neues Buch: mit Arnold als Hauptperson.
Zweiter Teil: Lorenzo ist neu in der Schule. Er ist steinreich und benimmt sich wie ein Erwachsener. Ständig hat er Termine. Da überredet Arnold ihn, einen Tag mal Kind zu sein. Zuerst hat Lorenzo Probleme damit, dann gefällt ihm das Nichtstun und Rumlümmeln.
