Son-Goku macht sich mit dem Herrn der Schildkröten und Kuririn auf den Weg zu einer größeren Insel, auf der sie mehr Platz zum Training haben. Natürlich ist Lunch auch mit von der Partie. Eine der Übungen ist es, einen Stein wiederzufinden, den der Herr der Schildkröten gekennzeichnet hat. Wer ihn findet, bekommt ein Abendessen, der andere nicht. Son-Goku findet zwar den Stein, aber Kuririn jagt ihm den Stein auf hinterhältige Weise wieder ab. Alle versammeln sich zum Essen, nur Son-Goku muss zusehen...
Master Roshi packs up his house in a dyno capsule, and the four of them head to a bigger island. Master Roshi tests the boys' speed by timing them in a 100 meter dash. Krillin goes first, and runs the distance in 10.4 seconds. Goku's time is 11 seconds, but after he takes off his old, beat-up shoes, he runs it in 8 seconds. Master Roshi dazzles them by running it in 5.6 seconds. Then he gives them their final test for the day. He makes a mark on a stone, then throws it into the woods, telling them to find it; the loser must go without dinner for the night. Krillin tries to fool Master Roshi with a stone of his own, but Roshi sees through the lie. Goku finds the stone, but Krillin steals it and runs away. Goku catches up, and the two of them fight. Goku wins, so Krillin throws a decoy stone back into the woods, and Goku runs after it, thinking it's the real one. Krillin takes the real stone back to Master Roshi. However, it ultimately turns out to be a pyrrhic victory for Krillin, as Launch made pufferfish for dinner and failed to properly prepare it.

I quattro neo-inquilini si dirigono verso un'isola più grande. Muten decide di testare le abilità dei suoi novelli allievi sulla velocità nei 200m, poi il maestro presenta ai ragazzi il test finale; fa un segno su una pietra e poi la getta nel bosco, ordinando loro di ritrovarla: il perdente dovrà andare a letto senza cena. Crilin cerca di ingannare il Maestro con una pietra falsa, ma non riesce nell'intento. Goku seguendo l'odore lasciato impresso dal vecchio trova la pietra, ma Crilin gliela ruba e i due combattono. Goku ha la meglio ma, quando il suo avversario lancia una pietra qualunque nel bosco Goku si mette a rincorrerla pensando che sia quella vera. Crilin riporta così la pietra al maestro Muten. La cena si conclude con tremendi dolori addominali per Muten e Crilin, poiché Lunch non sapeva che i pesci palla che aveva cucinato fossero velenosi.
Kame Sen'nin (Maestro Roshi) lleva la Kame House a otra isla mas espaciosa para entrenar. Al llegar a la isla el anciano pone a los niños una prueba de velocidad en 100 m. Al atardecer Kame Sen'nin propone otra prueba: marca una piedra con el kanji tortuga (亀 kame?) y la tira a una espesa jungla. El primero que la encuentre en 30 minutos podrá cenar, si no, ningúno podrá comer. Conocemos mas a Krilin.
为了训练龟仙人把房子变成了一个胶囊。带着悟空和克林还有兰琪来到了一个小岛上。悟空独自一人驾着筋斗云环岛巡视了一圈，发现有很多居民。这时兰琪好象又要打喷嚏，把大家吓了一跳。正式的训练开始了，第一个训练就是跑100米。悟空与克林的速度非常快，当两个人以为自己是最快的时候，龟仙人给他们做示范的速度却快得惊人。当夜晚降临时，龟仙人向外扔了个上面写着龟字的石头，让悟空与克林去找。

Ara que té dos alumnes i la companyia d'una noia, el Follet Tortuga decideix traslladar-se a uns nous terrenys, on organitza unes curses per comprovar la velocitat d'en Goku i d'en Krilín. En Krilín recorre la distància en 10,4 segons; en Goku, en 8,5 segons, i el Follet Tortuga destrossa l'actitud arrogant dels seus alumnes en fer-ho en 5,6 segons.
El primer repte important que el Follet Tortuga proposa a en Goku i a en Krilín és que localitzin una pedra on ha escrit el seu nom. Llança la pedra al mig de la selva i els dóna només mitja hora perquè la trobin. El que la trobi soparà, i l'altre no. En Son Goku s'endinsa en la vegetació immediatament. En Krilín intenta falsificar l'autògraf del mestre, però el Follet Tortuga el descobreix fàcilment. En Goku acaba per trobar la pedra, però en Krilín fa servir la seva aptitud per a l'engany per prendre-la-hi, la porta al Follet Tortuga i en Goku es queda sense sopar. Els comensals s'intoxicaran, per consol del Goku.
見事に弟子入りを決めた悟空とクリリン。亀仙人はさっそく二人に課題を与える。それは、森に投げ込んだ石を30分以内に探し出して持って来るというものだった。まともに探しても見つかりっこないと思ったクリリンは、一計を案じるが…。
