The next day, Gohan learns that Chobi, who is the child of Toto the pterodactyl, has been captured by a circus and put on display. In his attempt to rescue Chobi, Gohan is portrayed as a criminal. Videl pursues Gohan as a suspect. When Chobi's parents attack the city in search of their child, Gohan manages to handle the situation and return Chobi to his parents. Videl discovers the truth that Gohan is Great Saiyaman. Videl blackmails Gohan into participating in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament. As some of the other Z Fighters express interest in the tournament, Goku calls out from the Other World and says he will return to Earth for a single day to participate.
Chibi, un bébé dinosaure ami avec Son Goten, a brusquement disparu de son nid. Son Gohan et son petit frère découvrent à la télévision que ce dernier a été kidnappé par un gérant d'un cirque. Son Gohan s'y rend pour parler à celui-ci mais il ne veut rien entendre. Sous le costume de Great Saiyaman, Son Gohan libère Chibi. Poursuivi par la police, il réussit à leur échapper mais doit se confronter à Videl. Son Gohan refuse de l'affronter par peur de lui faire mal mais malheureusement, le petit Chibi pousse des cris et ses parents sèment la pagaille dans la ville de Satan City. Alors que Son Gohan allait dévoiler son nom à Toto, le père de Chibi, Videl sait désormais que Great Saiyaman et Son Gohan ne font qu'un. Son Gohan n'a pas d'autres choix que d'assommer Toto pour rétablir le calme. Retournant au lycée, Videl finit par démasquer Son Gohan, sachant qu'il est Great Saiyaman, et le fait chanter en lui proposant de participer au prochain championnat d'arts martiaux et qu'elle dirait tout à ses camarades s'il refuse. Son Gohan accepte d'y participer et Videl lui demande également de lui apprendre à voler, ce que ce dernier accepte. Lorsqu'il vient rendre visite à Bulma, Vegeta et Trunks, Son Goku parle à son fils par l'intermédiaire de maître Kaioh et informe ses amis qu'il peut revenir sur Terre pendant une journée afin de pouvoir participer au tournoi.

Cuando los padres de Chobi atacan la ciudad en busca de su hijo, Gohan consigue manejar la situación y devolver a Chobi a sus padres. Videl descubre la verdad de que Gohan es el Gran Saiyaman. Videl chantajea a Gohan para que participe en el 25º Torneo Mundial de Artes Marciales. Cuando algunos de los otros luchadores Z expresan su interés en el torneo, Goku llama desde el Otro Mundo y dice que volverá a la Tierra por un solo día para participar.
