This is my first Youtube video, but I've had an obsession with multi-level-marketing companies for a while and their business methods and recruitment practices. I've been wondering why MLM's have not been regulated more harshly which is why I began researching the history of mlm's, eventually coming across a company I was already somewhat familiar with- Amway. Amway and the Devos family have strategically involved themselves in politics and have quite a hold on the American government, which seems to be a reason why MLMs continue to thrive with very little regulation. If you're as interested in MLMs as I am, this may be a fascinating watch for you! I go over Amway's history, their business model, my personal story with Amway recruiters and their involvement in politics, culture and religion.
Today I wanted to talk about something that blows my mind- goop and it's business model. I wanted to talk about all the problems with Gwyneth Paltrow's company goop and how they may use fear mongering tactics to spread misinformation in order to sell their extremely expensive and overpriced products. Funny enough I filmed this before the Netflix "documentary..?" trailer came out featuring the infamous Gwyneth Paltrow herself, but I've had a bone to pick with goop for quite some time. As a health and wellness nerd myself, I feel goop and companies like it with "high-end" health products perpetuate the idea that health products are only for the wealthy and elite who can afford it. I also think much of what goop sells on it's website have health claims with no scientific basis or backing, which can only do damage for the "clean"/"wellness" movement. Articles featured on the goop blog allude to a lifestyle in favor of alternative medicine, spreading distrust in science and medicine in an effort for goop to gain consumer's trust, and in turn... their wallets. This is my opinion of course, but I wanted to point out in today's video all the problems with goop and why it's a company doing more harm than good to the wellness community.
Today's MLM topic is the infamous "white party" mlm, Arbonne. I've watched an Arbonne "nutrition shake party" take place and in this video share my experiences at the party, as well as explore the depths of the Arbonne business and the problems with becoming an Arbonne consultant.
It's time for another #antimlm video! I love doing these videos- it's so fun to expose the scammery of various mlm companies! If you're new to my channel and don't know what an mlm company is, I post a ton of videos on multi-level marketing companies and all the wrongdoings that go on behind the scenes, so subscribe to get a look into mlm companies!
In today's #antimlm video I discuss the infamous snake oil company Young Living and their deceptive practices. I dive into some cringey hun bot Facebook posts, talk about false claims made by distributers inflating the benefits of essential oils, and talk about the founder of Young Living, Gary Young, who is someone definitely worth examining...
This Tik Tok e-boy really makes me cringe, but I thought I should get a second opinion. Today I showed my husband @brodyalvey's Tik Tok's to see what he thinks of this Tik Tok cringe. My husband reacts to this Tik Tok e-boy and while this video is very different from my average video (me sitting alone, filming a commentary video) I really enjoyed watching TikToks with Riley and laughing with him! Since I’m a newer channel I’m experimenting with video and editing styles, so let me know how you feel about this video in the comments below!! I always respond, and appreciate any and all feedback. Hopefully you guys can withstand the cringe!
I couldn't help but wonder how mlms grew to be as prevalent today as they are, so today I thought I would examine that. Multi Level Marketing originated with Nutrilite, virtually accidentally. Then with the rise of internet and social media, it became even easier for hun bots to spread through social media. MLMs grow through word of mouth marketing, which is known to be one of the most effect forms of marketing. Today I talk about these topics and much, much more!
You need to know this about the modeling industry. As alluded to many times but seldom explored in-depth, the modeling industry has a dark side and isn't even remotely as glamorous as it seems. I should know- I was in a top modeling agency throughout my teenage years. This is my story, and my truth because I am done staying quiet about the harsh truths of the industry.
Kim Marshall is a hunbot that must be stopped... her antics have gone too far, and she believes she is untouchable. Today I'll be talking about Kim Marshall (I CAN'T believe I pronounced her name wrong the whole video! I promise you I did so much research on this but when I went up to film I had a total brain fart on her last name. lmao!) I'll be diving into all the controverisal things Kim Marshall (or, KM) has done, the oddest of them all being her constant promotion of these "magic beads" that she has made some outrageous claims about. The most important take away is that what KM has been doing is illegal, and we can help put an end to these illegal actions by reporting her to the FTC. PLEASE, PLEASE do not send any hate Kim's way, because she will only use that as ammunition. Instead, please help me in reporting KM to the FTC. Hate will only bring out more hate, and hating on KM is not worth our time and energy.
Today I'll be diving into Beachbody, a multi level marketing company that has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. First I'll be discussing some stories from previous Beachbody coaches, diving into some "training material" Beachbody coaches share with one another, and discussing my opinion on Beachbody and their business practices. If you enjoy antimlm content, subscribe and comment down below what companies you'd like to see me cover next! Thank you to everyone who has supported my channel through everything from viewing to commenting and sharing. You have made me so excited to make and edit videos, and I'm so grateful for it all.
Theranos is one of the most fascinating companies to ever exist with a founder who's out for blood... Today I wanted to talk about Theranos, one of the biggest scams of all time, to shed light on this topic and hopefully learn from this entire debacle. Thank you guys so much for all the love and support I've been receiving, you all have empowered me to continue making better and better content! I have a lot of great things planned for the future!
I spent way too much time researching vacuums... Today I wanted to share with you guys a story my subscriber sent to me about their experience with Kirby, a vacuum selling company. Through my research I found a lot of people can relate to what this subscriber went through, so I wanted to dive in depth into Kirby as a company and all the controversy surrounding them. A number of consumer protection agencies have received numerous complaints regarding Kirby vacuum's sales practices, and there are numerous accounts of many different people taking issue with Kirby's door to door selling practices and direct selling business structure. So, today we are examining it all so you can decide whether or not you think Kirby is a scam.
Today I wanted to talk about bizarre, unknown MLMs that we don't talk about enough! In this video I talk about Market America, NuSkin, Nikken, SendOutCards and BeautyCounter! All of these companies are bizarre but not talked about enough! So, today I thought I would do a video talking about all these companies and their issues. Stay tuned until the end to hear my least favorite MLM company of all of these! And thank you to everyone who has supported me and tuned in to my videos!
There's a pandemic that's affecting the world and causing mass panic- some people, like our medical professionals, are stepping up to help others selflessly. Others, however, are exploiting this pandemic for their own personal gain. In my opinion, it's disgusting, and needs to be talked about. First I talk about MLM distributors who make wild claims about their mlm products helping cure/prevent coronavirus (mainly examples used are from Young Living and doTERRA, two essential oil mlm companies). Then I talk about other scammers who have said their product cures corona, such as Kenneth Copeland attempting to "cure" people of the virus through his televangelist powers that apparently can transport through tv screens, Jim Bakker who sold a "silver solution" and claimed that it would cure all viruses and went on to say some of the most outright outrageous claims I've ever heard, and Alex Jones who claimed his products, particularly his toothpaste, would cure COVID-19. Apart from people who have made outrageous product claims, some other ways people are exploiting the pandemic is through hoarding needed products and supplies. Lastly I discuss the immoral way MLM reps are attempting to recruit people into their downlines by using the fear of this pandemic against them. Hope you all enjoy this one, and are staying safe and well!
Today I wanted to talk about Color Street, and mlm company that sells nail strips, and how it may not be what you think! Most people like Color Street because of it's unique product and great "nail technology" but what if I told you that Color Street nail strips aren't as unique as you may think?... Turns out, Color Street nail strips and another company are eerily similar...
This topic, in my opinion, is one of the most important topic regarding multi level marketing companies! In today's video I want to talk about how MLMs and mlm distributors target moms, mainly stay at home moms, and ruin a lot of female friendships in the process. This is not MLM vs ANTIMLM, this is not about the anti mlm community spreading any negativity towards women in mlms but the exact opposite! In this video I want to highlight why women in mlms need the antimlm community's love and support and why we should start working to politely inform women in mlms and let them know we are working with them- not against them! I hope my message is heard in this video, and I hope we can find out the tactics mlms use to target moms and stay at home moms (the "hunbots" the "karens" the "facebook moms") and figure out why mlms ruin so many female friendships...
Monat recently announced their "pivot to producing hand sanitizers" and have regarded this move as a "charity" and claimed they are "giving back"... The "giving" nature of the charity is debunked when taking a closer look at the numbers. So, in this video I talk about how this charity may be more exploitative than helpful and may even be a charity scam.
This topic is one very close to my heart, as a military spouse myself. Military spouses know, multi level marketing companies have had a giant presence in the military spouse community for quite some time. Today I want to talk about why this happens, and how we can come together to help stop the spread of misinformation and "scammy" mlm practices within the military spouse community. I discuss some of the data discovered by the Department of Defense on the many challenges of military spouses- the social and physical isolation, lack of jobs and extremely high unemployment rate, and challenges with childcare. All of these factors are believed to contribute to the spread of MLMs in the military spouse communities and on military bases.
Tyra Banks had her own MLM makeup line that FAILED miserably... Today I wanted to examine Tyra Beauty, how it started, and what went wrong! Tyra Beauty is a multi level marketing company self-funded by Tyra Banks herself, former supermodel and reality show star of America's Next Top Model in 2015 that closed it's doors and it's direct selling model in 2017. Tyra Beauty stood out because of it's bold marketing and packaging, and many who joined Tyra Beauty were young and impressionable and believed Tyra would never steer them wrong...
This has got to be the most effort and research put into a video yet! I'm so thankful to have the help and support from someone involved in the CBD industry, Jakie Waple founder of the Hemp Force, and couldn't have made this video without her help. Emerging studies are showing promising benefits of CBD, or cannibidiol. This has garnished increased interest in CBD products by consumers which has caused a massive spike in new CBD businesses. Unfortunately, since the FDA is not regulating the production and standards of CBD products, there have been reports of CBD labeled products with dangerous ingredients, no CBD or a different level of CBD than their product claims. Today I discuss the CBD industry landscape, how to spot fake products and lastly CBD mlms like Hempworx, Kannaway and HB Naturals.
Today's video is a much needed update to my first video on this topic "MLM MAGIC BEADS"... KM has been up to no good lately and in this video I'm going to debunk some of the claims and fake studies she has alluded to in the recent weeks. I don't want hate thrown at KM, I want action taken to remedy this situation and what I see as her making illegal claims and having a dangerous lack of accountability for her audience and how she could possibly be effecting their decisions. KM has alluded to the idea that BS Beads, a company she is affiliated with, helps with a number of different problems including: weight loss, appetite suppressant, helps with viruses and immune function, depression, and the list (unfortunately) goes on... This is extremely dangerous, but also misleading and today in this video I debunk all of KM's claims and talk about why this needs to be stopped!
I talk a lot about MLMs on my channel, but what's the deal with these YouTube "make money" gurus? Are they a scam? Are they legit? And why do their ads appear everywhere, all the time? I had no idea this video would get as intense as it did, or as in-depth, but in this video I'm uncovering some major hidden secrets in the "get rich guru" world. I talk about undisclosed affiliate codes and groups of "competition" that are secretly working together. It's a long video, but the details provided in this video are absolutely insane, and I hope this video exposes fake guru schemes not only as they scams they really are, but as the criminals that they might be...
MLM scammers have gotten even worse during the pandemic... despite the recent FTC crackdown mlm "hunbots" have been pushing their "business opportunity" relentlessly and in unethical ways. They've encouraged people to spend their stimulus check money on purchasing mlm products, and have targeted vulnerable people who are out of work claiming this is a great opportunity for them to make "full time income" while stuck at home. The actions of those within MLMs during this time have been appalling and those who are targeting vulnerable people and trying to scam them need to be held accountable.
After posting my video on Tyra Banks' MLM makeup line, a lot of you requested a follow-up video on some other shady things Tyra Banks has done. Lately there's been some controversy over problematic clips that have resurfaced from ANTM, but I wanted to share even more information I've been collecting over the past few weeks. After diving into more research, I uncovered some problematic things Tyra has done and is currently doing that showcase her hypocrisies and desperate attempts to boost her businesses, and make a profit at the expense of the young women who look up to her and who she claims she "empowers". Now, this may sound harsh but with Tyra's extensive track record I showcase in this video it's coming from a place of quality research, evidence and "receipts".
Unfortunately we have lost another to a MLM, but this scenario is a little more serious than that. In this video I want to examine Alexa Villa's relationship with Young Living and how she promotes them. Mainly I want to look at some of the suspicious claims made by her that may perpetuate misinformation as well as the strange lack of disclosure on the specific nature of her business relationship with Young Living. Reality is, Alexa Vega has a large following and she is encouraging her followers to join a company notorious for it's predatory recruitment practices and the dangerous and wild claims made by it's reps. Alexa Vega is also clearly being sponsored by Young Living, but giving the illusion that her and her husband are simply Young Living reps themselves with no bias towards the company. This illusion is misinforming their followers and possibly encouraging them to sign up for YL under false pretenses. At the end of the day, with great influence comes great responsibility, and those who actively mislead their followers should be held accountable for it (in my opinion)...
The prison industrial complex (PIC) is a system used to exploit prison workers for cheap labor with no benefits, while entrapping prisoners into a system in which they are unable to rise up and create a better life for themselves. Because of the forced free labor, lack of benefits, and horrible system that keeps prisoners down I can't help but ask is prison labor and the PIC modern day slavery? You will be SHOCKED at how many companies use prison labor, and how it's kept alive through lobbying and funneling money to American politicians. In this video I cover as much as I can regarding the prison industrial complex, what is keeping it alive, and how it's driving mass incarceration far beyond any other country.
MLM reps have been posting some ridiculous stuff lately, exposing how tone deaf they really are... in this video I analyzed some of the recent posts and reactions from "mlm huns" and examined how being a part of a mlm may contribute to ignorance or "tone deafness". Some of these posts may be comical but the underlying tone is fairly disturbing, portraying a much larger issue of willful ignorance and misinterpretation of current events. I firmly believe accountability is essential for any social media poster, but most importantly mlm reps and their posts because they are conducting their "business" online, aka, as they so commonly claim; "Facebook is their workplace". They not only attempt to manipulate their friends, family, and following into joining their "downline" and spending money on their mlm with the promise of financial prosperity, but they also spread ideology on the exact same platform that they do so, so if this ideology is hateful, I personally see this as a form of workplace discrimination/ harassment and think it's important to discuss it!
The Breakaway Movement is a bizarre Instagram Influencer "cult" seemingly designed to rope people into a pyramid scheme unknowingly. You start off in the breakaway movement thinking you're going to learn things about business and how to be an influencer, but slowly the truth is revealed, that to join this elusive club you have to pay $5,000 for a kangen water filter, and sell for Enagic, which is an mlm for over priced water filters... So in this video I examine how the break away movement gets away with this scheme and stays under the radar while continuing to draw in young aspiring influencers into their mlm.
With the recent news of Kylie and Kris Jenner lying and manipulating the public as well as Forbes into believing Kylie was a billionaire (when she wasn't) I was reminded of the countless times the Kardashian/Jenner family lied, manipulated and allegedly* scammed the public. In this video I analyze most of the Kardashians' "infamous scams"... I look at alleged scams the Kardashians have all participated in, such as Kardashian Beauty (a failed makeup line), the Kardashian Kard, weight loss product scams and Instagram giveaways. I also take a look at Kris Jenner and Legacy Business School, I analyze Kim Kardashians' many alleged scams, I look at Poosh by Kourtney Kardashian, the manipulative campaigns done by Kendall Jenner and lastly dive into the billionaire scandal regarding Kylie Jenner.
With all the negativity currently happening in the world I wanted to make a more uplifting, funny video. So I thought why not bring my husband in and have him react to a Pure Romance mlm party?! This was such a fun video to film, and I hope you guys have as much fun watching it! We react to a Pure Romance mlm rep selling in an online pure romance party... now, if you didn't know, Pure Romance sells mainly adult products and their primary demographic is married women, so I thought it was the perfect video to react to with my husband... (though it may have been a bad idea and I don't think we were ready for it)... disclaimer: while the video we were reacting to was posted publicly to YouTube and therefore Fair Use is permitted and I chose not to blur the consultants face, please do not send any hate to the consultant on any social media platform... it is my interpretation that she is a good person roped into an unethical company. Love you guys!
Ever since a few videos came out about Jared Leto and his supposed cult, I became curious about what was really going on. Is Jared Leto really a cult leader? Is this all just a publicity stunt? Are fans of 30 Seconds to Mars really cult followers? And, most importantly, what is Mars Island?! Why are the tickets to Mars Island so expensive, and is it Fyre Festival #2? In this video I analyzed all of this to really take a look at Jared Leto's cult. What I was surprised to find was actually how cringey him and his following really are...
I'm a little late on this topic (forgive me) but ever since the Myka Stauffer and 8 Passengers controversies came out I became increasingly interested in researching family channels and family vloggers. I wanted to know what safeguards are put in place to prevent the mistreatment of children in family channels and whether or not laws like Coogan laws were present on YouTube. What I ended up finding out is pretty upsetting... so, today I wanted to analyze family channels and the harsh reality of this "family friendly" (aka advertiser friendly) content on YouTube that may not be as harmless as everyone seems to think...
Jake Paul is one of the internet's favorite dumping grounds, mainly known for his over-the-top antics and dangerous behavior towards others part of his "Team 10" business. But today I wanted to dive into a topic that has always interested me about Jake Paul: his many failed business schemes. Jake Paul has started many alleged "get rich quick schemes" such as Team 10, Team Dom, Edfluence, Financial Freedom Movement, TGZ Capital and the list goes on... and within each business "scheme" there are professional investors and others involved that I wanted to look into today. Overall, I think Jake Paul is obsessed with becoming a "freebot" and is fascinated by get rich quick schemes, with a bizarre determination to make his own business concept become a reality.
In light of recent controversies I wanted to talk about something that has been on my mind for a while- the "beauty community", beauty influencers and how brands use beauty influncers to reach massive profits. It seems there is a lot of manipulation going on here, and a lot of encouragement of excessive consumerism. I think it has had detrimental effects on (mainly our bank accounts) and has turned a community once built around feeling confident and "playing with makeup" into an industry of drama, profits, and competition.
After posting a video covering the beauty industry, I wanted to do a follow up video discussing some problematic aspects of influencer brands. Unfortunately, influencer brands can be harmful, can take advantage of a vulnerable or caring audience, and can leverage an influencer's audience for financial gain. I wanted to have a conversation about when an influener brand goes too far, or uses shady tactics to sell a product and how we can identify when that is happening. With all the recent "beauty drama" and "controversy" I couldn't help but notice that the beauty gurus and influencers all seemed to have their own brands and collaborations that are somehow intertwined with the drama and controversies, and I wanted to examine whether or not that was an intentional thing, and whether or not influencers use drama to gain a favorable stance for their brand.
Gary Vee seems to be the ultimate internet millionaire motivational guru... but is his advice even that great? Is he as giving as some claim, or a snake oil salesman like others claim? Why do some people "love" Gary's advice and others "hate" it? In this video I wanted to dive into Gary Vaynerchuk's content to see if it's as incredible as people were hacking it up to be. Turns out, Gary's advice may be more basic nonsense than millionaire insights, and he may be using his following to gain more attention on his developing businesses than to selflessly help others. But, let's analyze Gary Vee's online content and really find that out...
Pt. 1 of reacting to Netflix's new docu-series titled (Un)Well! So many of you guys requested that I check out the new Netflix series (Un) Well, a series that dives into alternative medicine practices and whether or not they're more harmful than helpful. The first episode of (un) well is all about essential oils and the MLM companies that sell essential oils. In this video I react to the first half of (un)well's essential oils episode and the upsetting and egregious things contained within the episode. Let's analyze and deep dive into the vast world of essential oils and aromatherapy and find out whether more harm than good is being spread...
After my last video, part 1 in the series of reacting to Netflix's (Un)Well docu-series, I thought the (un) well episode on essential oils couldn't get any worse... and then, I reacted to the second half of the episode. In this video I react to and comment on the second half of unwell's episode on essential oils, which dives into essential oil mlms, health claims regarding the healing power of essential oils, and the current lawsuit regarding Young Living and their predatory business practices.
I've seen a lot of videos on Russell Hartley, many critiquing his crude and misogynistic approach to dating advice, but with all the talk about Russell Hartley it made me wonder- is this what he wants? To drum up a stir, gain a following, and capitalize off of that? Is this the newest form of influencer outrage marketing, gaining influence and a social media presence just off of being awful? Let's talk about it.
Today we are examining the Russell Hartley texting course to find out what those buying the course are being taught, as well as whether or not the course is a scam... this is the first time I dive into a "guru course" on YouTube to see what the course itself teaches. I hope this will be a fascinating look into what men like Russell think and teach, and what these guru courses are actually like!
Dan Bilzerian and his company Ignite have recently been exposed for losing 50 million in 2019, as well as the extent of Dan Bilzerian's personal use of company money which, as discussed in the former Ignite president Curtis Herrnan's lawsuit, was the main reason for the company's losses. In this video we dive into the Ignite lawsuit, the extent of Bilzerian's personal use of company money, as well as Bilzerian's wealth and its shady origins...
There's been a lot of backlash against Kylie Jenner as the #PayUp campaign spreads, along with rumors that the KENDALL + KYLIE brand is not paying it's garment workers during this p*nd*mic. Bangladeshi garment workers are in trouble due to working conditions and the cancellation of large orders by large brands. In this video I examine the problem in Bangladesh as well as the truth of whether or not Kylie Jenner is to blame (you can't believe everything you hear on the internet)
Recently the shocking news came out that James Cordon would be MC'ing the 'Monations' award show event for a very controversial company, Monat. In light of this news I couldn't help but wonder: is James Corden the jolly, joyful British comedian every one loves, or is he, like many other talk show hosts, only putting on a facade? And if so, who is the real James Corden?
Is this the weirdest mlm yet?!
Is Kourtney Kardashian's site Poosh even worse than Goop?! Does Poosh give bad advice and over the top woo woo content like Goop, or is it a lame copycat? Let's analyze the Poosh site.
Trump is known as the esteemed businessman and reality tv show host who became POTUS, but much of Trump's past businesses are up for debate. In the first video on my series of analyzing public figures and possible scams they've participated in I dive deep into the world of the Trump Organization and all of the shady business practices Trump has participated in.
There's been a lot of cringey "edgy" influencers/ jokesters on Tik Tok gaining clout for their "I'm not like the other girls" stance on morality. I wanted to react to one of the most cringe adult males on the internet who is heroically defending the world against snowflakes and alt teenage girls through gaining a following of teenage boys. Truly an inspiring figure we all should look to as an example... that's sarcasm, but unfortunately there are actually people who look up to this dude/look to him as an example and the repercussions of the spread of "edgy alpha" influencers is horrifying.
The Ace Family is popular family channel with nearly 20 million subscribers but are they who they say they are? How did they get all the fame and money? It seems the ace family soared in popularity through problematic actions like stealing from artists, or hosting shady charity events. Join us as we take a deep dive and analyze scams the Ace Family has created ranging from a charity celebrity basketball event to a moldy juice brand for kids. After watching this video you will be surprised with how many scams the Ace Family has tried pulling off.
Teddi Mellencamp, John Mellencamp's daughter and former figure on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been under fire lately for her "accountability" program, All In by Teddi as details from this very secretive program have been released. Customers of the program anonymously leaked screenshots of aggressive texts from their coaches, as well as the "meal plans" they were encouraged to eat. Countless dieticians have weighed in on the program and warned that it is extremely dangerous, not beneficial, and may even lead to ed's. In this video I analyze the program and all of it's disturbing details.
Get-rich-quick "gurus" are taking over YouTube with their "make money" ads, YouTube channels and poorly put together websites. This trade has been around for quite some time, but slowly it is mutating into a monster that can't be stopped... in this video I analyze how these get rich schemes operate, how the gurus make money and why more and more of these schemes keep popping up... with a surprising twist that explains a lot about how we got here and why.
Kenneth Copeland and Televangelists like him have recently become a mainstream meme as their preaching's and tangents have gone viral. But, are televangelists more dangerous than cringe? In this video I analyze the concerning aspects of Kenneth Copeland and other televangelists- the donations they solicit and who they solicit donations from, the lavish lifestyles and dangerous teachings they provide, to examine just how dangerous televangelists really are.
Forex MLMs are a scam that prevails successfully because of it's ambiguity & allure. This scam prevails through targeting young individuals and giving them the hope that they can get rich off of the stock market with very little effort and time on their part. This MLM is particularly interesting to me because instead of selling a tangible product, forex mlms sell courses and require all members to participate in a costly membership ($100-$200 per month!!) The hype surrounding forex mlms is bizarre and I wanted to analyze what forex mlms are and why they must be stopped.
This documentary is definitely the weirdest & most shocking "health" documentary I've seen yet...
Wasn't expecting this one...
Here's what goop has been up to in 2020...
Tik Tok bans mlms, and the vanilla vigilante...
Care/of works hard to recommend supplements based on scientific research and your personal goals. As a friendly reminder, supplements aren’t intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Who is the person behind the online persona of Trisha Paytas? This is the story of how Trisha Paytas lied and scammed their way to the top.
The Prince Family has manipulated an audience of millions through fake drama and planned scandals... they exploit their relationship, family and fans all for YouTube views. In this video we're analyzing how the Prince Family became the MOST TOXIC family channel on YouTube...
From millions of followers to declaring bankruptcy- it's a fitting final downfall for the story of the YouTuber Onision.
The Ace Family once ruled the YouTube platform, until their many controversies caused their inevitable ruin and the complete destruction of their brand and image. This year the parents of the Ace Family, Austin and Catherine, announced their divorce. But what caused the complete self destruction of the two partners? Austin and Catherine were seeking fame and fortune, and they found it alongside their YouTube career, and seemingly sacrificed all else in their life for the continuation of their own self fulfilment and vices.... leading, ultimately, to their ruin.
JustPearlyThings is a controversial content creator who made a living off of being a professional "pick-me"- creating a platform off of pitting herself against and putting down other women. But there's a darker story to the rise and fall of JustPearlyThings and an important lesson in the fall of Pearl: those who make enemies out of everyone has no one to turn to when they finally fall.
The D'Amelio Family became known through the youngest daughter Charli D'Amelio's viral fame through the app Tik Tok, leading to the entire family becoming internet celebrities practically overnight and signing major deals with brands, companies, music labels, and television networks. But when the daughters started to show signs of exhaustion, and the parents of the D'Amelio family began to speak out about their level of involvement in their daughters careers, businesses, and lives, the question becomes: what does modern exploitation look like for young social media stars? Should there be limits to how much these influencers are allowed to be pushed, or how much their parents are allowed to profit from their success? The D'Amelio family may just be another cautionary tale of the dark side of internet fame and fortune, and the greed that comes along with it...
Jojo Siwa has been under fire recently for her bizarre actions online all associated with her rebrand, alongside some of the questionable figures that Jojo Siwa has chosen to associate with. But, the recent information on Jojo Siwa is only the tip of the iceburg when it comes to the entire story of Jojo Siwa- a former child star who became massively famous from a young age and went on to build a multimillion dollar empire for all the adults around her, until she became too old to be marketable to their target audience. Who is to blame for the fall of the Jojo Siwa empire? What behavior has Jojo normalized from her unconventional childhood, and continued to inflict onto others?
Tana Mongeau is a wildly successful influencer known for her controversial actions and her self-branded "problematic" persona, but looking deeper into the life and career of Tana Mongeau, despite all the financial success and flash there is a sinister pattern of exploitation... one that is becoming all too common in the modern young influencer industry. This video is about how exploitative cycles often persist, and how when Tana Mongeau has had the opportunity to break the cycle, she has often gone the other way.
Jimmy Donaldson, known online as Mr. Beast, has created one of the most successful YouTube empires on the platform. With multiple channels of over ten million subscribers, and multiple successful businesses, Jimmy seemed unstoppable. And yet, recently, news has come out about the terrible workplace culture his company has created and the various nefarious figures involved. People also began speculating on Mr. Beast's motivations for his content, as more scams and bad practices within his videos began to surface. All of this has led to a fall of the Mr. Beast empire... as they say, all empires eventually come to an end.
The world is becoming more and more divided, due to online echo chambers that spread misinformation and hate. The now failed podcast, Fresh and Fit, was apart of one of the most toxic online echo chambers and spread some of the most extreme viewpoints.
