Hobie bliver venner med en hjemløs pige og forsøger at genforene hende med hendes mor. Harvey er tvunget til at finde et nyt sted at sove, da hans kæreste smider ham ud.

Unter den Obdachlosen am Strand treibt sich auch Charlie herum, ein Mädchen, dessen Mutter irrtümlich im Gefängnis sitzt. Hobie freundet sich mit ihr an. Mitch will Charlies Mutter aus dem Knast holen. Der ebenfalls obdachlose Hector entwendet Charlies Tagebuch.

When Eddie arrives to his tower one morning, he is surprised to find a homeless man there. When Eddie tries to get rid of him, the homeless man attacks Eddie with a shard of glass and steals a picture of Shauni. Mitch tells him that the homeless man is named Hector Clay, also known as Hector ""The Collector"". He was released from the mental hospital because of funding cuts. Meanwhile, Hobie meets a homeless girl named Charlie. When she loses her harmonica, Hobie gives it back to her. That night when Charlie is asleep in an abandoned power plant, Hector steals her journal. The journal is Charlie's most precious thing. She and her mom shares it. When Charlie's mom doesn't show up when she is supposed to, Charlie gets worried. Later, Mitch arrives and he brings Charlie home. Mitch finds Charlie's mom at the police station. She was wrongfully imprisoned and Mitch manages to get her out of prison. When Charlie finds out that her mom is coming, she sneaks out to retrieve the journal. She find

Hobie incontra una ragazza di nome Charlie, che vive con la madre in una centrale abbandonata. Un uomo le ruba il diario, il suo bene più prezioso. Quando la ragazza cerca di recuperarlo finisce in acqua, ma viene salvata dal provvidenziale arrivo di Mitch.

Hobie conoce a Charlie, una vagabunda de su edad. Entonces el joven pide a Mitch que la ayude a encontrar a su madre. Paralelamente, Eddie es apuñalado por un mendigo llamado Hector y está decidido a seguirle la pista.
