Eine Santorium bietet einen "natürlichen" verjüngenden Zaubertrank an, der auch Alfred und seine Freundin, Maggie Paige, anlockt. Tatsächlich wird das Unternehmen von Poison Ivy geleitet, die eine neue Art von Chlorophyll benutzt, um Menschen in Bäume zu verwandeln. Batman ermittelt und wird beinahe ebenfalls zu einem Baum, bevor er schließlich Poison Ivy aufhalten kann.
Several rich industrialists are invited to the Eternal Youth Health Spa, and that's where they are last seen before disappearing. The only connection: they had something to do with the death of plants. Bruce Wayne also receives an invitation (although it was one of his greedy directors who nearly made the deal to destroy a rainforest before Bruce forced him to shut the operation down), but Alfred and his "lady friend", Maggie, go in his place. When they don't return, Batman is forced to investigate, discovering that the spa is run by Poison Ivy, and that she has been using a formula to turn the industrialists into humanoid trees, including Alfred and Maggie.

Alcuni industriali spariscono dalla circolazione, e Batman scopre come siano stati tutti invitati alle "Terme dell'eterna giovinezza", centro benessere dove peraltro era stato invitato anche Bruce Wayne, che aveva girato l'invito ad Alfred. Dietro alle terme però vi è Edera Velenosa, tesa a trasformare in piante quegli stessi affaristi che avevano distrutto alcune foreste.
É inaugurado um balneário que atrai a atenção de Alfred e sua amiga Maggie Paige. Porém, este lugar é dirigido por ninguém menos que Hera Venenosa, que utiliza uma nova forma de clorofila para converter as pessoas em árvores. Batman desconfia de algo errado e vai ao local para salvar Alfred e sua amiga das garras malignas da Hera Venenosa.

Cuando no regresan, Batman se ve obligado a investigar, descubriendo que el spa está dirigido por Hiedra Venenosa, y que ha estado usando una fórmula para convertir a las personas en árboles, incluyendo a Alfred y Maggie.
