The Joker covers Gotham City in a cloud of laughing gas and begins plundering the crazed city. But after Alfred is infected with the toxin, Batman has added incentive to stop the Joker and acquire an antidote from him before all of Gotham dies with a smile.

Joker diffonde per le strade gas esilarante e con i suoi uomini inizia a svaligiare la città. Quando anche Alfred viene contagiato, Batman rintraccia il criminale e sventa il suo piano.
Coringa espalha um gás letal através de uma balsa repleta de lixo tóxico. Esse gás altera a mente dos cidadãos de Gotham e faz com que todos fiquem rindo a toa como dementes. Enquanto as pessoas ficam alteradas, o Coringa e seus capangas aproveitam para fazer seus roubos com tranquilidade. Alfred, o amigo e mordomo de Batman, também é contaminado pelo gás. Batman vai ao encontro do Coringa, que dentro da balsa aguarda com mais uma surpresa, um robô capanga chamado de Capitão Palhaço. Batman derrota o robô e prende o Coringa e seus capangas.
Joker emplea un gas letal que altera la mente para convertir a los ciudadanos de Gotham en unos completos tontos. Si Batman no detiene al Príncipe Payaso del Crimen, pronto todo el mundo estará completamente loco, incluyendo a su amigo y mayordomo, Alfred.
