An enigmatic ex-con assumes the identity of the murdered sheriff in the small-town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, stepping into a web of crime, memories, and old wounds. As he battles local criminal powers and reignites a dangerous romance with his former lover, he must use both violence and cunning to stay ahead of the men hunting him. Eventually, the confrontation comes home, forcing alliances to form and loyalties to be tested in the town’s shadowy underbelly.
