闇夜の時代劇

1995年当時、まだ実験的な段階にあったコンピュータを使用した手法を多用して製作された、新感覚の時代劇アニメーション。サンライズを代表する富野由悠季、高橋良輔、今西隆志が脚本・演出を手がけ、明智光秀を本能寺へ向かわせたエピソード「老ノ坂」と、伊賀忍軍と家康の関係を示すエピソード「正体を見る」、戦国時代のもののけ退治話「甚助の耳」、沖田総司にまつわる物語「幕末洛中瓦版」の全4話が製作された。
