Bat-cat asks Ratman to help him collect blood for the ressurection of Backbeard. He has a reason for wanting to achieve something great. Ratman turns him down, but when the huge reward is set in front of him, he changes his mind and offers to help. But there's no way Ratman will simply do as he's told and collect blood, is there...?!

ハロウィンを控えた街の路地裏を歩くねずみ男の前に、突如不気味な影が現れる。自らを西洋妖怪の帝王、バックベアードの実の息子、バックベアード・ジュニアだと名乗る声の正体は、西洋妖怪のこうもり猫だった。こうもり猫はバックベアード復活のための血液を集めるため、ねずみ男に助けてほしいと頼み込む。彼にはどうしても手柄を立てたい理由があった。一度は断るねずみ男だったが、報酬の多量の金貨を前に目の色を変え、自ら協力を申し出る。しかし、ねずみ男が素直に従って血液を集めるはずもなく…！？
