Steng demands Kiyo to surrender his book for Folgore and Kanchome's lives. Once he has the book, he reveals he has no intention of keeping that promise. Kory suddenly appears and steals Kiyo's book from Steng and while dodging Baltro's attacks, returns Kiyo's book. Folgore and Kanchome meanwhile manage to free themselves allowing Kiyo and Zatch to defeat Steng and Baltro. Kiyo questions Steng why his father was kidnapped, to which Steng replies he was paid to do so. The castle begins to collapse as Steng and Baltro make their escape. Kiyo, Zatch, and Kory manage to rescue everyone in the castle including Kiyo's father. Steng and Baltro while running away from the castle, meets the Mamodo who hired Steng. The Mamodo fires blue lightning and Baltro's book is burnt.
Steng dice a Kiyo e Zatch di dargli il libro in cambio delle vite di Kanchome e Folgore, ma una volta consegnato dice che non manterrà la promessa. In quel momento arriva Kory che prende il libro e lo restituisce a Kiyo, mentre Kanchome e Folgore riescono a liberarsi.
Steng exige Kiyo a entregar su libro para Folgore vida y la de Kanchome. Una vez que tiene el libro, que revela que no tiene intención de mantener esa promesa. Kory repente aparece y roba el libro de Kiyo de Steng y mientras esquiva los ataques de Baltro, devuelve el libro de Kiyo.
