This week's show started off with a bang--David and Jason debuted a new theme song and scored themselves another ad read! After the excitement subsided, the guys got things started by talking about high school. David loved high school, even though he once got into a ton of trouble for using the term "Turn Up," and, in a separate incident, was taken off his bus by the police. Jason, on the other hand, didn't have a great time in high school, as he discovered that his "friends" were all a bunch of meatheads. Then, later in the show, before talking vlog pranks, David and Jason detailed their recent trip to Miami, which led to a conversation about controversial vlogs, offending viewers, and when it makes sense to apologize.
Coming to you live from the bathtub, it's VIEWS. This week... Jason has an intern. Does he treat him well? Also, David's mind is blown over the responsibilities that come with owning a house, he may or may not be getting a pool, and Jason had an epiphany about David's poor eating habits, while hiking. Also, is it ridiculous for celebrities to make rules that forbid their staff from interacting with them? Plus, a building ruined David's fireworks experience, David tells Jason about why he can't leave the country, Jason got his chest waxed, and David remembers the story of a pinecone fight gone awry, which landed his best friend on crutches for a couple of years.
Jason's having a rough time. First, he didn't get free underwear (David did), then he went on a really awkward date, and finally he had an incredibly angry Uber driver. That's a lot of emotional pain, but it paled in comparison to the pain David felt this past weekend, which was physical, because he had a CYST UNDER HIS WISDOM TOOTH. Also, the guys continue their debate over the comment section of videos, and whether or not it should affect content.
Things get intense! David thinks he's going to get kicked out of the country (Jason disagrees), Jason asks David if they're actually friends, before diving into what constitutes a friendship, and the guys talk about David's upcoming 21st birthday party in Vegas. Also, Jason weighs in on whether or not heaven is real, and goes off on David over his answer to a "would you rather" scenario regarding the death penalty.
