On 27 October 1991, Hurricane Grace battered the entire Eastern Atlantic Seaboard. She was about to be hit by the storm of the century; the mighty north-easter of 1991, when Hurricane Grace collided with a cold front from Canada and a storm from the Great Lakes. Sometime in the middle of the night on 28 October, the Andrea Gail found herself at the centre of that so-called 'Perfect Storm'. She was never seen again.
