Under Siege

Als neues Oberhaupt der Bravo Company kommt Captain Larry Heath ins Camp. Als bekannt wird, dass Charlie einen großen Vorstoß nach Süden planen, der geradewegs über ihre Basis hinweggehen soll, will Heath gegen die nahende Armee kämpfen. Die Männer, angetan von der jovialen Art ihres neuen Captains, vertrauen ihm, obwohl Zeke sie warnt und fordert, die Stellung gegen den Angriff zu stärken. Tatsächlich erweisen sich Zekes Befürchtungen als richtig und die nicht richtig vorbereiteten Männer werden fast überrannt. Zur gleichen Zeit kommt Matsuda ums Leben, weil er seine Patienten nicht verlassen will.

The men of Bravo are certain that Westmoreland has not yet informed the enemy that they are losing, as Firebase Ladybrid continues to come under daily long-range artillery fire. Suddenly a helicopter approaches and lands despite the fact that the base is taking fire. A large attack proves that Anderson was right when the firebase is over-run and Doc Matsuda, with only 15 days left of his tour of duty, is killed when he refuses to abandon his patient.
