Using Fallout 4 to make machinima is an absolute nightmare, and this certainly gets to the crux of why. Keep in mind my game is heavily modded and most of these nightmarish moments are not Fallout 4’s fault as such (though some of them definitely are).

I just couldn’t give Beat Saber the title of an absolute nightmare, sure it has those dastardly cubes but that wasn’t enough to content with how awesome this game is. I save the Absolute Nightmare label for VR games that commit some kind of crime, but not Beat Saber, it’s too perfect.

I return to review the biggest VR game since Skyrim VR – Budget Cuts. I also made the review almost as long. I really enjoyed this game as a VR experience but my biggest issues come with the level design and lack of stealthy puzzles. However in terms of a game designed for VR, Budget Cuts is so well implemented to work for the Vive it’s the first big step a game has made to be a true VR title.
I recently learnt Fallout New Vegas could be turned into Fallout: New Vegas VR. Was it worth it? Well, no. Not really. As expected it's an absolute nightmare, and here's why. Really though I think from watching this you can tell I like Red Dead Redemption 2, I am just focusing on the negative aspects to question the many reviews saying Red Dead Redemption 2 is a perfect game. It just seems worse than it is in this video because of my ranty “this is why it’s an absolute nightmare” style.

Following the hilarious popularity of Elite Dangerous VR Is A Nightmare – This Is Why. I’ve decided to come back to the game and mess around with Voice Attack. Voice attack allows you to add your own commands into Elite Dangerous, so you can fly it without relying entirely on the joystick. This is particularly useful with Elite Dangerous VR as you are blinded by the Vive (or whichever VR headset you use…)
Alien Isolation VR may have been out for a while, but it’s still definitely still an absolute nightmare… And worth trying. This is why is back! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Since it’s Halloween I’ve gone all out and reviewed the scariest (and best) VR game I could find. For once the title absolute nightmare will make sense… If you watch the video you will see this is one of the best full VR games you can get, and it’s technically free as it’s just a mod! Most VR games are fairly short so Alien Isolation VR really stands out in the VR market. I am so shocked this game never got fully released by Sega, I honestly thing Alien Isolation VR as an official release wouyld be the best Vive/Index/Oculus/whatever game out there. As it stands Alien Isolation VR is still a bit clunky (as it’s a mod) but it is definitely one of the best VR games I have ever played. It’s also terrifying. So sit back, relax, and let Alien Isolation VR scare the heck out of you on this Halloween eve!
IT'S CHRISTMAS! Which means it’s time to play and review Christmas games. VR Christmas games to be precise, because after all, every Christmas VR game is an absolute nightmare. I go back to my roots and try a load of Virtual Reality games about Christmas, all from Steam. No not Boneworks… Maybe next time. It occurred to me that every Christmas video game I had ever played was pretty bad, so I thought, would VR Christmas games be any worse? So it was decreed. I have wanted to take on a cooking video for a while, so here is: Cooking With Gordon Ramsay Is An Absolute Nightmare, and This Is Why. This is a little less of a “how to” cooking video as opposed to a sketch show with Gordon Ramsay and cooking mixed in occasionally. In this week's video I am parodying those MasterClass Trailer videos. I have watched almost all the MasterClass trailers and have seen a bit of a pattern for how MasterClass lay them out. I thought it would be fun to parody them. I most enjoyed the Penn and Teller and Gordon Ramsay MasterClass trailers, and this is heavily inspired by them.

I return to review VR games again, and what better virtual reality game to review than Valve’s Half Life: Alyx. No major story spoilers but I talk about Half Life: Alyx’s gameplay at length. Virtual Reality finally has a game I think most can agree is a great game that has been made excellent in VR. We cover the Oculus Quest 2, the Vive, the Index, The Rift and I played some VR phone games… but they were terrible.
Ah, Cyberpunk 2077, the worlds least controversial video game. In the making for nearly a decade it is finally here and oh boy, is it an absolute nightmare. In this video I talk at length about CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 3, triple A gaming as a whole, and of course Cyberpunk 2077 at length. Generally I think of Cyberpunk 2077 pretty positively, as a video game it tries to do too much and some areas fall flat, but generally I can ignore this stuff and focus on the games main story, which is where I think CD Projekt Red did their game proud.
Hitman 3 is finally here, and with it comes a VR version. So my hands are tied and I must review it! This VR version is not on steam currently by the way, it is only on PSVR. So I must dust off my totally not useless PS4 and buy a PSVR which apparently doesn’t even come with wireless controllers even though it’s a VR console! Anyway...

FALLOUT IS BACK I’ve decided to cash in on my vague experience with Fallout and review every single one, and of course find out if they are absolute nightmares.
Fallout is back again! This time with Fallout 2. I have a feeling people are going to be mad at me this month… I’ve actually played through Fallout 2 twice now and both times couldn’t get into it. It is a lot more like the modern games in the Fallout series but after making this review I realised that it just has too much text for me. Fallout 2 is also so long that the interface really starts becoming a problem.
There are a lot of tier lists on YouTube, and I am yet to see one done on pickles (maybe that is a sign I shouldn't have done this...). Since my YouTube channel has no discernible theme I thought a tier list would only add to the charm.
So this week I visited a cat shelter to volunteer and to spread some information about adopting cats. Although the tips I share here can be spread to getting most pets, not just cats. I doubt I was much assistance at the cat shelter, it was likely I caused more work than saved, but everyone at Cat’s Protection were LOVELY.

I feel like "Fallout: New Vegas Is An Absolute Nightmare" has been kind of on my channel's radar ever since I did the New Vegas VR video. Happy I did it after reviewing all the Fallout games before it though, it gave me a lot more perspective on the series.
