Tony und Doug landen im Jahr 1883 unweit vom Schauplatz der Schlacht von Khartum. Die beiden spüren Aliens auf, die die Erde vernichten wollen. Zuvor versuchen die Außerirdischen, alles über den Zeittunnel in Erfahrung zu bringen. Sie foltern Doug mit einem Gedankenlesegerät.
Tony and Doug arrive in Khartoum, November 2, 1883, in the middle of a battle between British and Arab forces. However, two aliens take them prisoner. The aliens plan to conquer Earth with missiles, and will be ready to launch in two hours - they send a bomb to the Project to prevent them from interfering. Tony is taken to be killed but the alien with him is forced to teleport out when the British approach. Then both guys are transferred out of the cave by the Tunnel staff, where they make contact with Captain Henderson and convince him about the aliens. The three of them attack the cave and manage to stop the aliens, with some help when the Project send the bomb back to the aliens.

A biztonság kedvéért addig is a levegőbe akarja röpíteni az egész időalagutat, s a tudósok már egyedül a közelgő angol katonák segítségében bízhatnak...
Tony e Doug si ritrovano nel bel mezzo della battaglia di Khartoum fra arabi e inglesi nel 1883. La situazione sarebbe già abbastanza preoccupante da sola, anche senza l'arrivo di due alieni che li catturano e li conducono in un covo scavato nelle montagne. Lì, il capo degli extraterrestri confessa di avere notato il loro insolito arrivo sul campo di battaglia e di volere informazioni sul viaggio nel tempo. Nel frattempo ha già inviato agli scienziati del tunnel una bomba, per dissuaderli dall'intervenire in loro aiuto.
