Die Zeitreisenden landen vor den Mauern der Stadt Jericho, als diese von den Israeliten belagert wird. Joshua, der Führer der Israeliten, schickt die beiden als Spione in die Stadt. Bei dem Versuch ein Menschenopfer zu verhindern, gerät Doug in Gefangenschaft.
Tony and Doug arrive outside the tent of Joshua on the sixth day of his seven-day assault on Jericho. With their future knowledge of the Bible they are able to convince Joshua that they are emissaries of the Lord, and he basically forces them to go into Jericho as spies. Doug is captured and tortured after they try to stop an exection, and Tony befriends a harlot, Rahab. With the help of Rahab and her father, a blind architect, they manage to free Doug. Tony and Rahab are set up for execution, but when a skeptical Anne tries to use the Tunnel to free them in opposition to how the Bible describes the incident, the Tunnel shuts down as if by some outside (dare we say Divine?) force. Tony and Rahab are spared when Joshua launches his attack and both the guys and the Project team witness the miracle just before they are whisked away once more.
Nos deux héros se retrouvent plongés dans l'Antiquité sur les bords du Jourdain, à Jéricho, assiégée par les Hébreux. Ils arrivent à convaincre Josué de leur origine. Ce dernier les envoie espionner la ville, conformément au texte biblique. Doug est fait prisonnier lorsqu'il tente de sauver une jeune fille, Shala, destinée à être sacrifiée par le grand prêtre de Timoc...
טוני ודאג נוחתים מחוץ לאוהל של יהושוע ביום השישי מתוך שבעה למצור על העיר יריחו. יחד עם הידע העתידי שברשותם מהתנ"ך, הם מצליחים לשכנע את יהושוע שהם שליחים של האלוהים והוא שלח אותם כדי שיכנסו לעיר בתור מרגלים. דאג נתפס ומעונה לאחר ששניהם ניסו למנוע העלאת בחורה צעירה כקורבן, ואילו טוני מתיידד עם האישה בשם רחב. יחד עם עזרת רחב ואביה הם מצליחים לשחרר את דאג. בעבור בצע כסף, המשרתת של רחב מסגירה את טוני ורחב, והם נקשרו ועמדו להיסקל ע"י האנשים. ממש לפני הסקילה מתחילה ההתקפה של יהושוע וטוני ורחב ניצלים, ושני הבחורים יחד עם צוות המנהרה חוזים בפלא של נפילת חומות יריחו ואז שניהם נעלמים מהמקום.
הערה: הפרק לא שודר בסיבוב הראשון של הסדרה בחינוכית מחשש לפגוע ברגשות הציבור הדתי (שהמרגלים הם בעצם נוסעים בזמן).
Tony és Doug az idő örvényén keresztül sivatagi vidékre kerül, egy sátortábor kellős közepébe. Fegyveresek veszik körül őket, s végeznének velük, ha a harcosok vezetője, Józsué nem lépne közbe az érdekükben. A bibliai időkben járunk, és Izraelnek a sziklaszilárd falairól híres város, Jerikó ostromára készülődő fiai állomásoznak a vidéken. A két időjárót Józsué előreküldi, hogy belülről kémleljék ki a bevehetetlennek hitt erődítményt. A tudósok azonban kiesnek szerepükből, s megmentik egy barbár emberáldozatra szánt szűz életét. A lány nővére, Ráháb, a segítségükre siet, s előbb Tonynak nyújt menedéket, majd Dougot helyezi biztonságba. Az életük azonban így is hajszálon függ, mikor odakint megszólal a kürtszó, s a város falai megremegnek...
Giunti in un accampamento fuori dalle mura della biblica Gerico, Doug e Tony vengono condotti al cospetto di Giosuè. Tony ricorda perfettamente la profezia e la ripete, parola per parola, al profeta. Questi si convince che i due stranieri sono emissari del Signore e li invia all'interno della città per saggiare gli umori della popolazione. I due arrivano in tempo per impedire il sacrificio umano di una ragazzina, ma Doug viene arrestato. Tony si salva rifugiandosi in casa di Rahab, sorella maggiore della vittima sacrificale. Secondo le scritture, Rahab e la sua famiglia saranno i soli sopravvissuti quando Giosuè marcerà sulle rovine delle mura di Gerico...
