Unsere Helden sind von Zhi in sein Dorf bei Guilin eingeladen worden, das aber von Piraten belagert wird. Mit einem Katapult wollen sich unsere Freunde über die Belagerer hinwegwerfen lassen, Esteban und Tao landen aber an Deck eines der Schiffe.
Our heroes try to escape the pirates but Esteban and Tao are captured and taken to the pirate camp. Mendoza persuades Zia to try to pilot the Golden Condor and fly to the aid of the boys. Tao and Esteban try to escape but they are spotted by Pang-Zi, the leader of the pirates, who wants to know everything about the Big Gold bird.
Nos héros tentent d'échapper aux pirates grâce à une ingénieuse catapulte de bambous. Mais Esteban et Tao sont capturés et emmenés dans le camp pirate. De leur côté, Mendoza convainc Zia d'essayer de piloter le Grand Condor pour tenter de voler au secours des deux garçons.
