論文コンペ前日の夜。達也は文弥から周公瑾の居場所を突き止めたと報告を受ける。潜伏場所は何と、国防陸軍宇治第二補給基地。国防軍の基地に自分ひとりでは戦力が足りないと考えた達也は、将輝に連絡。場所が国防軍の基地だと聞かされた将輝は一瞬、躊躇するものの、十師族の責務を果たすため達也に同行することを決意。二人は周公瑾に操られた兵たちが待ち構える国防軍基地に侵入する。
The night before the Thesis Competition. Tatsuya receives a report from Fumiya that they have located Gongjin Zhou's whereabouts. He was hiding at the JGDF's 2nd Supply Base in Uji. Tatsuya speculates that he would not have enough offensive power to fight alone at the JGDF's base, so he contacts Masaki. When Masaki hears that they would need to invade an army base to get to him, he hesitates for a moment but decides to accompany Tatsuya to fulfill his responsibilities as a member of the Ten Master Clans. The two invade the army base where soldiers controlled by Gongji Zhou await...
Au retour de Tatsuya, Miyuki demande à celui-ci des réponses concernant ses récentes découvertes sur l'état inquiétant de Minoru. Tatsuya apprend que Gongjin Zhou est dans un lieu hautement sécurisé et part à sa poursuite.
La noche antes de la competencia, Tatsuya recibe un mensaje urgente: han localizado a Gongjin Zhou en un lugar completamente inesperado.
