Margot aus der Dordogne ist eine begeisterte Höhlenmalerin. Jett bringt ihr einen Malkasten mit Urzeitfarben, den sie natürlich gleich ausprobieren will. Als sie sich zusammen mit ihrer Mutter eine der Höhlen ansehen, erzählt Margot Jett, dass es ihr größter Wunsch sei, einmal einem echten Mammut zu begegnen. Da diese aber ausgestorben sind, müssen die beiden mithilfe von Onkel Albert eine Reise in die Vergangenheit machen.
Margot from the Dordogne is an enthusiastic cave painter. Jett brings her a paint box with prehistoric paints, which she naturally wants to try out straight away. As they look at one of the caves with her mother, Margot tells Jett that her greatest wish is to meet a real mammoth. But since they are extinct, the two of them have to take a trip into the past with the help of Uncle Albert.

Là, ils rencontrent Urk, un garçon qui vit dans la grotte qu'ils viennent de quitter, et qui propose à Margot de lui montrer des vrais mammouths en laine et en os.
