Carol je pozvána do klubu, kam chodí za zábavou zbohatlíci. Dana a Frank jsou zpočátku proti, ale Dana tam získá přítele a Frank příslib zakázky. Carol je naopak znechucena všemi snoby. Frank pomůže vyhrát zbohatlíkům golfový turnaj, ale Dana slyší, jak Franka v jeho nepřítomnosti pomlouvají a zasáhne na jeho obranu.
Carol und Co. sind in einen noblen Country Club eingeladen. Frank spürt, dass er dort nicht hinpasst – und scheint auch recht zu behalten. Carol ist zusammen mit ihrer Familie in den sehr gediegenen und noblen Washington Country Club eingeladen worden. Frank spürt zwar instinktiv, dass er dort nicht hinpasst, lässt sich aber Carol zuliebe breit schlagen, mitzukommen. Kaum angekommen, werden seine schlimmsten Erwartungen noch übertroffen, denn die Besucher verhalten sich unangenehm hochnäsig und arrogant. Doch dann verknallt sich Dana ausgerechnet in den Sohn des Clubpräsidenten. Als Frank davon erfährt, dass Clubpräsident Patterson ein großer Bauherr ist, wittert er die Chance, an lukrative Aufträge heranzukommen. Und da trifft es sich gut, dass Patterson auf Franks Golftalent angewiesen ist, um ein Turnier zu gewinnen. Zwar gewinnt Franks Team, doch dann stellt sich heraus, dass Patterson Frank nur benutzt hat. Dana ist daraufhin stocksauer und will nichts mehr mit Patterson und seinem Sohn zu tun haben. Frank ist gerührt, dass sich ausgerechnet Dana so für ihn eingesetzt hat …
A client of Carols' invites the family to spend a weekend at a Country Club. While Karen and Carol are extremely excited, Frank and Dana feel a country club is not for them. Cody gets a guided tour on a lawn chair of the country club; Al and Brendan make $60 playing pea in the cup with the rich kids; Karen finds four guys; Mark gives stock tips; Dana falls for the Country Club President's son; and Frank goes around fixing things. Because Dana is spending time with his son, the President recruits Frank to play on their scramble golf team. Dana becomes upset with Frank because he embarrasses her in front of her new beau. After frank leaves the President makes fun of his win for the team, Dana overhears and stands up for him. Dana and Frank grow to appreciate one another and are happy to find out that the President's snobbishness is not passed on to his son.
L'unique Country Club de Port Washington invite la famille Lambert pour le week-end. Carol est ravie de faire partie de la haute société et persuade Frank et les enfants d'accepter l'invitation.
