Rin is enjoying a rather normal life living with his childhood friend Kaede due to family deaths on both sides. One day at school, two new classmates transfer into his class: Lisianthus, heiress to the Realm of the Gods, and Nerine, heiress to the Realm of the Demons. Rin is told that he has been picked to marry either one, though it will be his choice as to whom.

La serie comienza con Rin Tsuchimi y Kaede Fuyou tener su desayuno. En su camino a la verbena de la Academia, se encuentran con un hombre que pertenece al club de fans de Kaede, quien es derrotado fácilmente. En Verbena Academia, Rin se encuentra con su amigo Asa Shigure.
