The Schiffmachers are in Mexico City. There they visit Tepito, one of the most notorious and dangerous neighborhoods in Mexico. The art and culture of the area intrigues the family. Their eye falls on a small tattoo shop where Henk is having a tattoo done by the owner. They also visit a large Christmas market that turns into a witches' market, where Henk is blessed and Louise has her future predicted. Finally, the whole family enjoys a cultural game of wrestling: lucha libre.
The Schiffmachers continue their journey in Mexico. They visit ex-convicts who teach them about the methods of tattooing in Mexican prisons. Henk and Louise cannot miss this opportunity and get a tattoo. The family also visits artist Doktor Lakra. His shop is one of the largest in the world. Henk is put to work here and this attracts the necessary Mexican fans. Back in the Netherlands, a surprise awaits: Mayor Femke Halsema visits the shop with a prestigious award for Henk.
