Mac Hollingsworth, an old-school relic hunter, leaves a key to Pandora's Box to Sydney in his will. She and Nigel travel to Baraq, where they are befriended by a local conman and petty crook, Ahmid. With Ahmid's help, they get into the palace where Pandora's Box is secreted...disguised as harem dancers. The palace is controlled by Colonel Montoya and his henchman Hauer. Sydney finds the hidden door the key opens, but she and Nigel are captured. Montoya opens the Box and is incinerated. As eclipses and earthquakes plague the land, Hauer forces Sydney and Nigel to decipher a clue to re-seal the Box. They do so, then manage to stop Hauer from selling the Box.
Sydney et Nigel se lancent à la recherche de la boîte de Pandore. Ils s'envolent pour Baraq, en Perse, et parviennent à entrer dans le palais qui cache la fameuse boîte...
Un vecchio cacciatore di reliquie ha lasciato a Sydney la chiave per ritrovare il Vaso di di Pandora. Insieme a Nigel si reca nel Baraq, dove i due diventano amici di un uomo del posto di nome Ahmid. Con il suo aiuto i due entrano nel palazzo dove il vaso dovrebbe essere stato nascosto travestiti da ballerine di un harem. Il palazzo è controllato dal Colonnello Montoya ed il suo braccio destro Hauer. Sydney trova la porta nascosta che la chiave potrebbe riaprire, ma viene, insieme a Nigel, catturata da Montoya. Il colonnello apre il vaso e viene incenerito all'istante. Subito un'eclissi ed un terremoto colpiscono il Baraq. Sydney e Nigel debbono trovare un modo per decifrare la scritta che potrebbe far richiudere il vaso ed impedire al tempo stesso che questo venga venduto da Hauer.

Ella y Nigel viajan a Baraq, donde entablan amistad con Ahmid, un lugareño de la zona. Con su ayuda, llegan al palacio donde la caja de Pandora está custodiada por un harén de bailarinas. El recinto está controlado por el coronel Montoya y su guardaespaldas Hauer. Sydney encuentra la puerta oculta que abre la llave pero la joven y Nigel son capturados
