Sydney natáčí pořad o velmi vzácné sošce a musí ji bránit před místními povstalci. Pomáhá jí Nigel a Karen.
Sydney ist auf der Suche nach einer Götzenfigur des südostasiatischen Inselstaates Gamora. Begleitet wird sie dabei von der Talkshow-Moderatorin Trish Gardner und ihrem Kameramann Zack, die über Sydneys Arbeit berichten wollen. Doch dann bricht plötzlich auf der Insel ein Aufstand aus, und die drei verstecken sich vor den Rebellen in einer alten Tempelruine. Als Sydney eine rettende Geheimkammer entdeckt, ahnt sie nicht, dass diese zur ausweglosen Falle wird.

Sydney is out in the field looking for a relic while accompanied by a women's talk show hostess and her cameraman. Nigel and Karen are back at the office. Sydney is entering a temple when rebels in the local Gamora Heights district stage a rebellion. The men are after foreigners. Sydney and the others take refuge in the temple, while Nigel and Karen collaborate with the show's producer back home to try and get aid to Sydney. Sydney manages to get into the temple, but the rebels trap her and the others there. They make a makeshift flare, send up a signal, and the government troops arrive to rescue them. They find out that the soldiers never saw the flare, and it was due to Nigel's intervention back in the States that they were rescued.
Sydney est à la recherche d'une relique. Elle est accompagnée dans sa quête par une journaliste et un cameraman. Mais alors qu'elle entre dans un temple, une rébellion éclate...
Sydney è alla ricerca dell'ennesima reliquia, ma questa volta è seguita passo dopo passo dalla conduttrice di un talk show e dal suo cameraman. L'archeologa è entrata in un tempio mentre all'esterno alcuni soldati ribelli stanno preparando una rivoluzione. Intanto al college, Nigel e Karen trattano col produttore dello show televisivo affinché questi soccorra i suoi collaboratori e la cacciatrice di reliquie, ma poi sono costretti a rivolgersi nientemeno che al consolato. Intrappolati nel tempio, i tre cercano di inviare un segnale luminoso alle truppe governative, le quali intervengono, ma solo grazie all'insistenza di Nigel e Karen.
