Lincoln zajišťuje věci venku a Sofie na něho namíří zbraní. Scofieldovi a Whistlerovi kazí plán slunce a musí rychle ukrýt lano. Když vyjdou z cely ven, je po nich požadován slíbený souboj. Hearing the Sona siren, Linc flees by car and when Susan calls, he lies, telling her he has the 'escapees' in the trunk, but Pike, another company operative phones her: the roll-count was complete. Sucre stops her van by crashing into it, but even when Linc holds her at gun-point her accomplice won't trade L.J. He releases her and gets a short extension to find out what happened. Failing a hearing, Malone now believes Justice official Richard Sullins is setting him up to confess. Michael is dragged before Lechero, but not to be punished, he's ordered to take the fallen boss along when he and Whistler escape. Susan asks instructions from Whistler, he tells her - as Gretchen - to give the brothers four more days.

Qui Susan spiega a LJ che molto probabilmente verranno uccisi tutti quando lei avrà Whistler. Mahone viene portato in un albergo per sostenere l'interrogatorio con la polizia panamense e poter essere trasferito negli USA. Bellick sembra colpito dalla notizia della morte di Sara e continua a dichiarare il suo sconforto a Michael che lo evita. Irrompono così in prigione e fermano lo scontro tra Michael e Whistler quasi giunto a conclusione, con Whistler ad un passo dall'uccidere Michael con un sasso.Mahone è in albergo ripulito e lavato ma in piena crisi di astinenza. Lang e Sullins, i suoi ex colleghi dell'FBI scoprono il suo problema con la droga e gli dicono che l'interrogatorio avverrà il giorno seguente di mattina. Mahone sembra non essere in grado di sopportare l'attesa a causa del suo bisogno di droga.
