Der Wettbewerb beginnt, und einige bekannte Gesichter kämpfen um das berühmte Band von Flori: Lucia, ihr Freund Kenny, und Jessilina, unter deren Verkleidung Jessie von Team Rocket steckt. Alle drei kommen in die zweite Runde. Doch dort erteilen Lucia und ihr Pachirisu Jessie und ihrem Pudox eine herbe Abfuhr. In der Finalrunde stehen sich Lucia und Kenny gegenüber. Lucia setzt ihr Plinfa ein und Kenny sein Pliprin. Beide Pokémon sind Wasser-Pokémon, doch Pliprin ist die Weiterentwicklung von Plinfa! Der Kampf wird interessant und äußerst ungewöhnlich. Sowohl Lucia als auch Kenny versuchen mit außergewöhnlichen Strategien zu gewinnen. Doch nach diesem intensiven Kampf kommt es zu einer Entscheidung nach Punkten. Lucia und Plinfa liegen vorn, und Lucia hat ihr erstes, heiß ersehntes Wettbewerbsband gewonnen!
As the Floaroma Town contest begins, Pachirisu�s stage fright puts Dawn in a state of panic. However, Dawn pulls out a Poffin which snaps Pachirisu out of it, and she puts on a great appeal. While she worries weather or not she will make it to the next round, Jessie and Kenny pull of great appeals, and soon all three of them make it to the next round. In the first round, Dawn must face Jessie. After struggling for a little bit, Dawn manages to pull off a win. As the contest winds down, the final battle is Dawn vs. Kenny. Will Dawn beat her childhood rival and win her first Contest Ribbon.
C'est l'heure du concours pokémon, Aurore se retrouve face à Kenny en finale.
Dawn participa en su segundo Concurso Pokémon pero está teniendo problemas con Pachirisu. Entre la competencia se encuentran la experimentada Jessilina y su viejo amigo Kenny.
