Ash ist nun auf der Metallinsel angekommen, wo der Kampfpalast steht. Zur Vorbereitung trainiert er mit dem verunsicherten Gewaldro. Aber das Pokémon ist noch nicht bereit für den Kampf und flüchtet frustriert in den Wald. Ash und Pikachu folgen ihm, werden von einem Schwarm Bibor attackiert und in den Fluss geworfen. Ash kann Gewaldro an Land ziehen, doch Pikachu ist verschwunden…
Ash and friends have finally arrived on Metallica Island, the location of the Battle Palace. Before challenging the Frontier Brain, Ash does a little training hoping to boost Sceptile's confidence. However, Sceptile still can’t muster the strength needed to use attacks and runs into the woods frustrated. Ash and Pikachu quickly run after Sceptile, but once the get on the woods, they are attacked but a swarm of Beedrill and are knocked into the river! Ash manages to save Sceptile, but Pikachu is swept away! Ash and Sceptile manage to get of the river and take a rest for the night, and Pikachu also manages to get out of the river. An old man finds Pikachu and helps to heal him. When Scott appears at the Pokémon Center, he reveals to the others that this is the time of year when the Kakuna evolve and Beedrill will attack anything to protect them! Can Ash manage to find Pikachu, boost Sceptile’s confidence, and get out of the woods without being stung?
Sacha est arrivé sur l'Île Metallica, où se trouve le Palais Extrême. Il est prêt à combattre, mais ce n'est pas le cas de Jungko. Ses attaques ne fonctionnent toujours pas et il s'enfuit en signe de frustration.
Sceptile se siente impotente por no poder usar bien sus ataques desde que evolucionó y trata de huir. Ash y Pikachu corren tras él pero todo se sale de control cuando unos Beedrill los atacan.
Efter att en upprörd Sceptile har rusat in i skogen följer Ash och Pikachu efter den, och springer rakt in i en ilsken svärm Beedrill; och nästa Gränslands-hjärna!
バトルパレスがあるメタリカ島にたどりついたサトシたち。そこはジャングルが広がる島だった。ジュカインのふっかつをねがってトレーニングにはげむサトシだが、なかなかワザを出せないジュカインは、おちこんでジャングルの中へときえてしまう。そのゆくえをおいかけるサトシは、スピアーのたいぐんにおそわれ、さらにピカチュウともはなればなれに。この地のフロンティアブレーン、ウコンによってピカチュウはたすけられるが、サトシはジャングルの中をさまようことに…。
