Tiffany, ein Mädchen, das mit seiner Großmutter in einem alten Haus am Ufer wohnt, erzählt ihnen, wieso das frühere Anglerparadies jetzt einsam und verlassen ist: Das Gauner-Pokemon Krebutack ist plötzlich wie aus dem Nichts aufgetaucht und hat soviel Unruhe gestiftet, dass alle Seebewohner geflüchtet sind. Dahinter steckt Saridakis, ein Geschäftsmann, der hier ein Wellness-Center errichten will. Der See ist für ihn eine stinkende Kloake, die man zuschütten muss. Doch als alle von Jessie, James und Mauzi angegriffen werden, fällt Saridakis in den See und droht zu ertrinken. Granny und Dragonir retten ihn. Es stellt sich heraus, dass sie ihn bereits als Kind vor dem Ertrinken gerettet haben. Aus Dankbarkeit gibt Saridakis seinen Wellness-Center-Plan auf.
On the way to the Battle Dome, Ash and the others decide to stop at a famous fishing spot for the day. However, the lake is deserted. They find out from the owner of a fishing house, Tiffany, that a company wants to buy the lake and turn the land into a resort. In order to scare people away from the land so Tifanny and her Grandma get no business, the leader of the comapny uses his Crawdaunt to terrorize the lake. When Tiffany fins out, she challenges his to a battle. The next day Ash prepares to fight him for the future of the lake.

バトルドームをめざすサトシたちは、そのとちゅう、つりの名所（めいしょ）とよばれる湖のほとりにとうちゃく。しかしそこにはつり人がいなくて、さびしいふんいきだった。この湖を見まもるアサギと出会ったサトシたちは、とつぜん湖にあらわれた「ならずものポケモン」シザリガーのいやがらせのせいで、つり人や湖にすむポケモンが出ていってしまったことを知る。サトシは湖のへいわをとりもどすため、シザリガーをたいじすることにするが…。
