Siegfried, der sich in die Gruppe von Team Rocket eingeschlichen hat, kehrt zum Labor zurück. Dort ist es Ash gelungen, sich zu befreien. Siegfried zerstört das ganze Labor, bevor er sich zusammen mit Ash auf den Weg nach Mahagonia City macht.
Since Ash, Misty and Brock are all trapped, Jesse and James decide to take an advantage of the moment to catch Pikachu. They press the wrong button and it frees Ash and the others! Then Lance comes with Dragonite to help Ash. With Dragonite, they destroy Team Rocket's evolution inducement ray, and go off to save the red Gyarados. Since the ray was destroyed, the Gyarados becomes stronger and breaks free with Team Rocket. But now, it's angry and rampages towards Mahogany Town! Lance had called Officer Jenny to come and arrest Tyson and the Rocket Grunts. Ash and friends go to help the Gyarados, while Lance fights Tyson's two Fearows with Dragonite. After winning, Lance goes to help Ash calm down the Gyarados. He eventually captures it. Tyson and the Rocket Grunts are arrested, Lance flies off, and Ash is now in Mahogany Town ready to challenge the gym leader!
Jessie et James veulent prendre Pikachu, mais la manette permettant de le libérer laisse échapper tout le monde. Sacha utilise l'attaque brouillard de Héricendre pour prendre la fuite. Jessie et James les poursuivent. Peter intervient et détruit le laboratoire. Voulant transporter le Leviator, la Team Rocket perd le contrôle des hélicoptères et le Pokémon s'enfuit. Alors que Peter se charge du chef des opérations, Sacha va rejoindre Leviator, qui se fait une nouvelle fois capturer par la Team Rocket. Sacha le libère à l'aide de Macronium et Léviator se débarrasse de la Team Rocket. Mais alors qu'il veut retourner dans l'eau, Jessie et James le capture à l'aide d'un filet. En voulant se débarrasser de Sacha, qui s'est agrippé au filet, Miaouss plonge le filet dans l'eau, ce qui redonne de l'énergie au Leviator et lui permet de se libérer. Peter combat Léviator à l'aide de Dracolosse et le capture. La Team Rocket est arrêtée.
