Thanks to Wayne, the members of the Cafe successfully determine Shinyao's location, but Midnight Sun, the Umbra extermination organization led by Van Helsing XIII, capture Shinyao and Chris first. Ton and her friends fail to rescue Shinyao again. However, Helsing tells Ton he will return Shinyao to her if she accepts his conditions: cease all contact with Umbra and forget about the incident. Helsing's words leave Ton unsure what to do... That night, Ton leaves the Cafe.
Aidée par Wayne, Ton trouve enfin une piste sérieuse pour retrouver Shinyao. Alors que Vlad, Luke et Tauryu s'approchent de Shinyao, un chasseur d'ambras vient leur mettre des bâtons dans les roues.
ウェインの情報収拾のおかげで、カフェのメンバーはシンヤオの居場所を割り出すことに成功するが、13代目ヴァン・ヘルシング率いるアンブラ殲滅組織『ミッドナイトサン』が、先にシンヤオとクリスを捕えてしまう。
またしてもシンヤオを救えなかったトンたち。しかしヘルシングはトンに条件を飲むのであればシンヤオを返すと告げる。その条件とは「アンブラとの交流を断ち、事件のことを全て忘れること」。ヘルシングの言葉に迷うトン...。
その日の夜、トンはカフェをあとにする。
