Sheedy Dealings

Simone and Sipowicz investigate the murder of two roommates. A guy that Medavoy knows comes in with story about a man wanting to hire a hit man. Medavoy wants to play the part of the hit man when they go to arrest him; since nobody thinks he looks the part, Martinez gets the role. Kirkendall and Russell investigate the claim of a wealthy woman that her maid did not accidentally donate the diamond necklace that the woman kept in a safe place disguised as a soup can. Diane reports to Bobby that she is 4 days late.

Simone et Sipowicz enquêtent sur le viol et le meurtre de deux jeunes strip-teaseuses noires en quête de gloire, retrouvées violées et étranglées dans leur appartement. Les soupçons pèsent sur un ancien amant de l'une d'elles. Russell et Kirkendall sont à la recherche d'un collier de diamants qui aurait été donné "par erreur" à une oeuvre caritative. Medavoy et Martinez dénouent un scénario fantastique dans lequel un homme, John Sheedy, accuse le mari de sa maîtresse d'avoir engagé un tueur à gages.

Während Simone und Sipowicz den Mord an zwei Zimmergenossen untersuchen, die beide als Stripper gearbeitet haben, erfährt Medavoy, dass ein Mann in der Stadt herumläuft, der einen Killer anzuheuern versucht. Um dem Mann eine Falle zu stellen, will Medavoy sich als Profikiller ausgeben, doch da jeder seiner Kollegen der Meinung ist, dass man ihm diese Rolle niemals glaubt, übernimmt Martinez den Job. Inzwischen ist Diane immer überzeugter, dass sie schwanger ist.
