Tuttavia, dopo aver constatato che i suoi primi modelli non risultano molto graditi alle amiche, Rarity li modifica cercando di assecondare tutte le loro richieste pur di far loro piacere. I modelli che ne vengono fuori sono orribili e la sfilata si rivela un fallimento, e causa un duro colpo alla sua carriera, dal momento che vi assiste anche il rinomato critico di moda Hoity Toity. Capendo di aver esagerato, Twilight e le altre realizzano un vestito per Rarity seguendo i suoi bozzetti iniziali.
