再度攻撃を開始する連合軍。アスランとディアッカもキラと共に戦うことを決意するが、敵の圧倒的戦力の前に、オーブは陥落寸前まで追い込まれる。
The Earth Alliance attacks again, but the results are the same as the previous battle. The Archangel and the Orb ship Kusanagi launch into space, while the leaders of Orb stay behind. They explode Orb's mass driver and armaments factories, sacrificing their own lives in the process.
Der zweite Angriff beginnt und Orb muss um Onogoro Island fürchten. Doch auch die Erdallianz hat mit Problemen zu kämpfen denn ihre Piloten können aufgrund der vielen Aufputschmittel nicht ihre volle Kampfeskraft entwickeln.
Après un bref répit, l'Alliance lance une nouvelle attaque sans même avoir écouté les demandes de dialogue d'Orb. Kira se retrouve rapidement débordé par le Forbidden, le Raider et le Calamity, mais il reçoit un soutien inattendu. De son côté, comprenant qu'Orb ne tiendra pas longtemps, le président Athha ordonne le repli.
