Mitten in der Nacht schlägt direkt neben Sammo ein Aufklärungssatellit in einen Häuserblock ein. Es gibt Tote, Verletzte und viel Schutt. Außerdem vermisst das FBI einen Plutoniumkoffer, der an Bord war. Wird er geöffnet, dann könnte ganz Los Angeles radioaktiv verseucht werden. Den Koffer hat ein Obdachloser mitgenommen, hinter dem außer der Polizei jetzt sämtliche ausländischen Geheimdienste her sind. Auch die Verbrecherorganisation Scorpio interessiert sich für den brisanten Inhalt des Koffers.
FBI-Agent Bricked will Sammo und Grace nicht an dem Fall arbeiten lassen, weil er sie der Spionage für China verdächtigt. Aber Sammo hat noch ganz andere Sorgen. Er sucht nach dem unbesiegten Straßenkämpfer Lon Wei. Mit etwas Hartnäckigkeit findet Grace den Grund heraus: Lon ist Sammos seit langem verschollener Sohn. Grace hofft über Jake Strode, einen Promoter illegaler Kämpfe, Lons Aufenthaltsort herauszufinden. Derweil lässt Agent Bricked Sammo verhaften, um ihn abzuschieben.
A new generation of spy satellite crashes down to earth in downtown LA. The FBI tells Amy that the only missing piece is extremely radioactive. If it is opened it could irradiate half the city. Involved in the bringing down of the satellite are the criminal cult Scorpio and their mysterious leader 'The One'. FBI agent Wick insists that Sammo and Grace are not to be allowed to participate in the case because they are both Chinese nationals and are probably Chinese spies. While this is going on Sammo is also trying to track down the whereabouts of his son, Lone Wei.

L'agente dell'FBI, Randall Wicke, informa il dipartimento di polizia che un satellite spia è precipitato sulla terra e una parte del congegno, che contiene radiazioni sufficienti a decimare interi quartieri della città, è scomparsa. Si tratta di un caso di interesse strettamente nazionale e Sammo e Grace, essendo cittadini cinesi, vengono estraniati dalle indagini.
