Duncan hinterlässt auf dem Weg nach Frankreich eine Spur der Zerstörung. Methos muss am eigenen Leib erfahren, wie böse Duncan geworden ist, als er versucht, Methos auf heiligen Boden zu enthaupten. Als Duncan einen weiteren Freund ermordet, sieht Methos nur noch einen Ausweg: Er muss Duncan töten.

MacLeod arrives in France, leaving a trail of hate and destruction in his wake. Methos finds him and discovers just how evil MacLeod has become when he tries to take Methos' head on holy ground. After MacLeod kills another good friend, Methos realizes that the only way to save MacLeod may be to kill him.

Duncan arrive en France, possédé par le mal. Methos découvre la "métamorphose" de Duncan, lorsque celui-ci tente de le tuer. Il ne sait comment le sauver de cette rage qui le ronge et hésite à lui trancher la tête...
