Hercules ist auf dem Weg zu einem Kriegsveteranen-Treffen, als er von seinem Bruder Iphicles aufgehalten wird. Hercules' brother, King Iphicles of Corinth, was not with his wife when she died -- he was out controlling rioting soldiers. For this he blamed the vetern warriors led by Ajax and demanded they leave Corinth without dedicating a statue. Hercules and Iolaus, friends of Ajax, tried to intervene. But deadly battles broke out when Iphicles killed Phidias, the statue's designer. Ajax tried to kill Iphicles as retribution, but he ended up devoured by giant sand worms. Tired of the madness, Iphicles relented by officiating at the dedication of Phidias' statue and extending land to the veterns.
Hercule et Iolas partent à la rencontre de Nebula. Ils trouvent sur leur chemin un homme blessé. Ils apprennent que Corinthe est le théâtre d'affrontements entre le peuple et d'anciens soldats. Hercule et Iolas viennent au secours des soldats emprisonnés et tentent de réconcilier tout le monde.
El hermano de Hércules, el rey Ificles de Corinto, no estaba con su esposa cuando murió, sino controlando a los soldados amotinados. Culpó de ello a los guerreros veternos liderados por Áyax y les exigió que se marcharan de Corinto sin dedicarles una estatua. Hércules y Iolaus, amigos de Áyax, intentaron intervenir.
