Having achieved their first victory in the practice match with Gyanko, the Try Fighters are training hard for the regional qualifiers which will be held in one month. Fumina is thinking of building a new mobile suit for use in the tournament, and when she confers with Mr. Ral, he suggests that she and Sekai take a trip to G-Muse. Here, Fumina virtually goes into a trance as she tries to choose a Gunpla, and Sekai is soon bored of watching her. A clerk encourages Sekai to build his first Gunpla, the Musha Godmaru, which he uses to battle some little kids. As Fumina rejoins him, they encounter Minato Sakai, a middle-school builder from Osaka. In the twinkling of an eye, Minato builds his own Kouki Gundam and begins a battle with Sekai. Thanks to his knowledge of SD Gundams' unique traits, Minato gives Sekai a hard fight and ultimately defeats him. But this battle has given Sekai and Fumina some valuable ideas for the tournament.
ギャン子との練習試合で初勝利を納め、一ヶ月後に迫った地区予選大会に向け猛練習をするトライファイターズ。そんな中、大会用のモビルスーツ製作に悩むフミナはラルさんに相談し、ラルさんの提案でセカイと一緒にＧミューズに行く事に…。ガンプラ選びに夢中なフミナを尻目に、手持ち無沙汰なセカイは店員の勧めで初めてのガンプラ、武者號斗丸を作り子供たちを相手にバトルをしていた。そんなセカイに、フミナが合流したとき大阪の屈指の中学生ビルダー、サカイ・ミナトが現れる。ミナトは瞬く間に、荒鬼頑駄無を組み上げセカイとバトルを開始する。ＳＤの機体特性を熟知しているミナトにセカイは苦戦を強いられ、ついには敗れてしまう。しかし、その戦いを通してセカイとフミナは大会に向けての大きなヒントを掴むのであった。
在和强子对战的练习比赛中初次胜出后，Try Fighters为了迎接一个月后的地区预赛而积极训练。这时文奈因为制作锦标赛用的机动战士而烦恼，故找拉尔先生商量，拉尔先生便提议她和世海一起去G缪斯。因为文奈沉溺在高达模型的抉择之中，无所事事的世海便在店员的推荐下，首次制作高达模型武者号斗丸，并和小孩子一起对战。当文奈和世海会合时，大阪首屈一指的中学生制作家阪井凑出现。凑在一瞬间将荒鬼顽驮无制作好，并和世海对战。对SD机体特性十分了解的凑使世海陷入苦战，继而大败。但是通过这场对战，世海和文奈却获得了关于锦标赛的重大启示。
Rápidamente se corre la voz de la victoria de Try Fighters sobre el equipo Song Dynasty Vase, que tiene a otros equipos nerviosos. Mientras tanto, mientras los Try Fighters practican para las clasificatorias de la División Oeste, Fumina lleva a Sekai a una cita en G-Muse, un museo y centro comercial de Gundam. Allí, se encuentran con un arrogante constructor de Gunpla de Osaka.
