Finn je nejistý, neví, co by chtěl, stále ještě cítí něco ke Quinn a navíc je Rachel moc iniciativní a myslí si, že spolu chodí. Sue se vrátila s nabytými silami, na ředitele ušila boudu, takže ho má pod palcem a samozřejmě opět zaměřila svůj radar na Willa Shuestera a jeho sbor. Tentokrát se rozhodla, že začne u Rachel. Ta chce totiž tak moc Finna a jakmile ho nebude mít, zhroutí se a tím i celý sbor. Pošle proto Santanu a Brittany, aby na Finna použily svůj šarm.

Fresh off their monumental win at Sectionals, New Directions is on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on new numbers for Regionals. But when Rachel and Finn’s budding romance hits a bump in the road after she becomes involved with a competitor, Jesse St. James , it threatens to derail the entire club. Mr. Schuester pays a visit to Shelby Corcoran, coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse’s motives. Meanwhile, Will is newly single, but is he ready to take his relationship with Emma to the next level? And to top it all off, Sue Sylvester returns from her condo in Boca with a renewed focus on destroying Will and disbanding the glee club.

Rachelin ja Finnin suhde käynnistyy yskähdellen, samoin Willin ja Emman uusi tutustuminen. Uudet tuulet aloittaa harjoitukset aluekisoja varten. Après avoir été suspendue, Sue retrouve sa place en faisant chanter le proviseur Figgins. Elle compte bien anéantir la relation entre Rachel et Finn en demandant à Santana et Brittany, deux pom-pom girls, de séduire le jeune homme. Voyant son bien-aimé convoité par ces deux filles, Rachel accepte le rendez-vous galant que lui propose Jessie St James, membre de Vocal Adrenaline, une chorale concurrente. Will demande à ses choristes de travailler sur des chansons contenant le mot «hello». Il a par ailleurs bien du mal à sortir avec Emma.

Il Glee Club prepara con grande entusiasmo nuovi numeri per le regionali, ma il duro lavoro viene compromesso dalla relazione ad alti e bassi tra Rachel e Finn.

Sue keert terug uit haar verplichte vakantie en zet haar oorlog tegen Will en de Glee club verder. Rachel en Finn vormen ondertussen een koppel, maar hij is Quinn nog niet vergeten. Will probeert uit te gaan met Emma, maar dat blijkt niet makkelijk te zijn.
