Jon, Garfield und Odie machen Urlaub in Italien. Für den Lasagne-Fan Garfield geht damit ein Traum in Erfüllung. Doch ihr erster Restaurant-Besuch wird ein totaler Reinfall. Denn das Essen ist ungenießbar. Zum Glück landen die drei danach im Restaurant von Mama Manicotti. Ihr Essen schmeckt phantastisch. Aber was ist das Geheimnis ihrer Kochkunst?

Garfield, Jon, and Odie travel to an out-of-the-way Italian restaurant which serves, in Garfield's recollection, the best Italian food he has ever eaten. He also finds that a large chain of pizzerias, Papa Plastique, whose food is so bad even Garfield wouldn't eat them, wants to buy Mama Manicotti's recipes.
