Taiitsukun tells Miaka and the Suzaku Seven that she must travel to the land of Genbu and Byakko to recover the Shinzaho. Taiitsukun have increased the powers for the Suzaku Seven. Tamahome has asked Miaka to be his wife when their mission is over, but Miaka says that’s not going to happen. Miaka continues to somewhat ignore Tamahome, while Chichiri tells Miaka about how his best friend betrayed him. Miaka wonders what Chichiri told her, will happen to her and Yui.
亢宿から美朱たちを救ったのは本物の朱雀七星士・張宿であった。亢宿により朱雀召喚の儀は失敗に終わり、美朱たちは四神天地書も失ってしまう。朱雀を呼び出す事ができなくなってしまったのだ。悔み自らを責める美朱に、太一君は北甲国（ほっかんこく）へ旅立つように告げる。玄武の国の神座宝（しんざほう）を手に入れることができれば、再び朱雀を召喚することができるというのだ……。
Taiitsukun dit à Miaka et aux Sept Suzaku qu'elle doit se rendre au pays de Genbu et Byakko pour récupérer le Shinzaho. Taiitsukun a augmenté les pouvoirs des Sept Suzaku. Tamahome a demandé à Miaka d'être sa femme lorsque leur mission sera terminée, mais Miaka dit que cela n'arrivera pas. Miaka continue d'ignorer quelque peu Tamahome, tandis que Chichiri raconte à Miaka comment son meilleur ami l'a trahi. Miaka se demande ce que Chichiri lui a dit, va arriver à elle et à Yui.
