太一君より授かった鏡を手掛かりに七星士を探す美朱たち。山という文字を手掛かりに厲閣山（れいかくざん）へ向かうのだが、不意をつかれた一行は山賊に捕らえられてしまった。この山賊の中に朱雀七星士がいるかもしれない……。手掛かりをつかむべく美朱は自ら山賊の頭・睿俔（えいけん）の元へと向かうのだが、七星士の情報を教える代わりにと襲われそうになる。駆け付けた星宿と柳宿により、やっとの思いで体に字を持つ翼宿（たすき）という人がいることを聞き出した美朱だが……。
