Sousukes nächste Mission findet in Afghanistan statt. Er erfährt, dass Gauron noch am Leben ist und wiedermal nichts Gutes im Hinterkopf hat. Während er auf dieser gefährlichen Mission ist, machen sich zwei Mädchen große Sorgen um ihn.
Kaname’s finally getting her summer fun, but she doesn’t seem too thrilled about it. A few days prior, Mithril Intelligence obtained information that an arch nemesis Sousuke knows very well is alive and wandering the barren wastelands of Helmajistan. While Captain Testarossa is against the idea, Intelligence deploys Sousuke, along with a Mithril unit based in the Indian Ocean, to Helmajistan to assassinate this dangerous target. On the flight over, Sousuke gets heckled by some of his “comrades”, making it a very unpleasant flight for our young Sergeant. Eventually, the team arrives in theater and parachutes in country.
Pendant que Chidori et ses amis son sur la plage en train de s'amuser, Sousuke est envoyé en mission au Helmajistan à la poursuite de Gauron. Il doit faire équipe avec d'autres mercenaires de Mithril avec qui il a des difficultés d'intégration. Une fois sur le terrain, ils s'aperçoivent que ce groupe terroriste transporte une tête nucléaire et plusieurs d'entre eux sont blessés au cours de l'attaque. L'équipe de Sousuke arrive à s'enfuir avec le tête nucléaire mais a perdu des plumes pendant bataille.

Sousuke es enviado a Helmajistan después de que Gauron fue hallado con vida. Es asignado temporalmente a otra unidad para la misión, pero debido a su edad, su presencia es tomado como una broma. Ellos ignoran el consejo de Sousuke, y su primer encuentro con Gauron acaba en desastre.
